Man wearing clown costume arrested for DUI

[A] motorist told the deputy they saw a red Ford SUV that had been driving “erratically.†The SUV was reportedly weaving from lane to lane.
When the deputy caught up to the SUV, he observed the vehicle crossing into the oncoming lane and back, and he immediately initiated a traffic stop.
The driver of the vehicle was dressed as a clown, and told the officer he had a few drinks at a local restaurant. He gave no indication as to why he was wearing the clown costume.

Nothing will ever beat the guy in the banana suit. And apparently, it’s a movement. The original ‘’offender’’ (as far as I know) had been jilted by his fiancee & was about to enter the Armed Forces (Marines, I think). IIRC, his only crime was DUI LOL- or maybe that’s ‘impersonating a banana while under the influence’’. But there may have been more that I don’t remember.
I tried to get a link for you, but there are several ‘banana mans’. The most recent was a teenager in Beaumont (Tx) who was doing a promotion for a gun shop- toting an AK.
geez It takes all kinds. . .
