I get emails, but that is because I have communicated with them via Donald Trump's website. They never ask for donations but occasionally offer Trump tee-shirts for sale.

On the other hand I get inundated with emails from Ted Cruz, and some from Marco Rubio. But Ted leads the pack by a large margin. I probably get 10 to 20 emails a day from Ted, and I have never contacted his campaign. The only way I can even think how he is contacting me is that he has access to RNC donor lists from when I still donated to the RNC, which has been quite sometime now.

I’m completely guessing about this, but I suspect as sitting Senators the info given to Cruz and Rubio goes into an RNC database that other campaigns can then buy access too. We’re all just commodities.

We get information emails from the Trump campaign every week and they are not pleading for money. I think if you go on the Trump FB page and click like you will start to get the emails.

For each election cycle, I create a temporary email address specifically for getting on email lists of those (few) candidates from whom I wish to hear. Typically, at least one of them will share their address list with another candidate and in sort order this becomes a spam avalanche. It doesn't matter though, because the email address is scheduled for cancellation as soon as the election is over.

Well, what it made ME think of was the cascade of Ted emails I’ve received for months on end because I made the mistake of giving some money to him for his Senate campaign.

FEBRUARY 10TH, 2016 -

VICTORY IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Dear Owen,

What a victory! Because of your incredible support, for which I am so thankful, this nation is now one step closer to strength, security and economic success.

I want to thank my family, campaign staff, hardworking volunteers, and every resident of New Hampshire who went to the polls and voted. I am touched and inspired by your spirit, patriotism, and desire to Make America Great Again.

This win is just the beginning. In order to secure the nomination, I need your help. If you would like to volunteer with the campaign and help make victories possible in other states, please click here.

Without your passion and dedication, I would not be able to share my vision with people all across the county. With your help, we will make the country stronger and better than ever before. We are going to start winning again! We will win on trade, on immigration, on the military, on jobs and on so much more. Together, we will Make America Great Again!

Best Wishes and Sincere Thanks,

Donald J. Trump

i do. but i contributed (small) back when his site went up. not for support, but to keep track of what he was saying to his supporters, and to see how he’d handle small contributions—obviously not because i thought he needed it.

I receive emails for around six presidential candidates, including Ted Cruz. The only one I ever signed up for was Trump, and I never received anything from him until I signed up at his website.

I’d made a few political contributions in the past and I’m sure some past candidate sold their email lists. Or, maybe Ted’s Psyops Unit or his data miners found me somewhere.

Its because he doesnt need your money!
All the other ones are spamming for Money.
It takes alot of $$$ to run for President. Thats why you see the others drop out if they cant get a donor or mass contributions. Trump does not need a donor or a Goldman Sachs (like Cruz) or a SuperPac! In reality, you are voting for the first time for the actual candidate!! Not the donor behind the candidate! People who voted for Obama actually voted for George Soros and a number of other despicable creatures.

I feel sorry for some of you folks who get on these RNC lists. I imagine you inboxes similar to this (found via Google).

I don’t open them anymore...maybe one to get them stopped?

I am not against him as a candidate, just not sold on him as anti establishment. Can he function with only Mike Lee to support him? VP, Justice Dept., or even
Supreme Court would be fine, but can he make changes we need...not convinced.

Why hasn’t Mike Lee come out to endorse his run for President? I am beginning to think that Mike Lee, who is a real Constitutional Scholar, knows that Ted Cruz is not a natural-born citizen of the United States.

The only e-mail I received was a thank you for contributing to the Vet night. That is it. I admit I was wondering if I would start getting e-mails from the Trump campaign, but NOTHING. It is amazing to me that we have such an honest person running for President.

“Why hasn’t Mike Lee come out to endorse his run for President? I am beginning to think that Mike Lee, who is a real Constitutional Scholar, knows that Ted Cruz is not a natural-born citizen of the United States.”

I asked that question last week and the Cruz supporters said that Mike Lee is afraid to because of Hatch who doesn’t like Lee and is up for reelection and don’t want any dirt for Hatch to us.

A stupid excuse for Cruz’s lack of support by conservatives but nothing new with the Cruz fans.

Just got a snail mail from Ted Cruz asking for donations.
I guess he’s not getting enough from his email appeal.
