He is related..Bill tried to get Ford to find a place on a Ford team (only Ford team worth anything this year is Penske, the others are dying , overachieving or trying to come back .). Ford didn't have space...Jeff Gordon wanted to drive Fords but Jack Rousch wouldn't let him have the mechanic he had since he first drove, so he went to GM.

I'm surprised with that...I heard Ford is trying to rebuild their stable of teams...Stewart Haas...great coup...
My dream is JGR joining Ford...

Not sure what kind of contract JGR has with Toyota but after the missteps the TRD is paying dividends with speed and consistency. Agree that SH switching to Fords is a coup; Ford has to deliver and they will but how long will it take?

I think Ford got the power with Rousch Yates Engines, but ever since Fenway Sports bought 50% of Rousch, it seems it is doing nothing. SHR and Team Penske (and Wood Brothers) are going to be the main Ford Teams...I’ll be surprised if the Cat in The Hat (Jack Rousch) will be around in 2018.

SHR is going to build their own chassis and bodies too.
They hired a top guy from Hendrick to ramp up that shop.
It will be interesting to see how drivers shake out.
I think Harvick has a personal services deal with GM.
I could see Hendrick dumping Kahne and trying to get him.

I’d say that white-tail was pregnant except it has horns. Then I realized it was a California deer so it was possible.
Saturday night church for us. Good sermon. Sure like Sunday free to sleep in & watch the race earlier. No snowfall for a week. That rhoadie has a lot of buds; is it Spring yet?

The deer had a tag and a radio transmitter so F&G can track him. That is the only deer we have seen in 4 months or more leading me to believe we have a Mountain Lion in the neighborhood. Lady Bender and Daughter Bender spent the weekend in Santa Rosa. Son Bender will pick me up for breakfast and and a cruise in the Ridgeline later.
