MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A car burst into flames on 385.
Witnesses said the car was hit by another car that kept going.
The crash happened on 385 near the Ridgeway exit ramp.
Witnesses said the vehicle went off the road and ran into a pole.
"Everybody started getting stuff to bust the windows. We had to get the man out of this car," witness Elicia Bridgforth said.
With some help from good Samaritans, a K-9 officer rescued the driver from the burning vehicle before it exploded. Click here to see pictures from the scene.
Witnesses said the driver was pinned against the steering wheel.
"All I could find was a gallon of water, so I went back and wet him so maybe it wouldn't burn him and I could keep him as moist as possible," Corey Kilpatrick said.
The group tried unsuccessfully to find a fire extinguisher. Moments later, a man ran over with a jack iron and broke through the window.
"It appeared he was completely trapped in the driver's seat," Kilpatrick said.
One witness caught the incident, rescue included, on camera and posted that video to Facebook.

I just saw GOD on 385. I'm always in awe of his wonders but today just blew my mind. This car ran off the road and hit a metal post and burst into flames not to mention the passenger was trapped inside as the car was filled with smoke the flames began to fill the inside. THE ENTIRE EXPRESSWAY STOPPED and people ran from their cars trying to break the windows and open the doors of this mans car to free him, as they were the others went up in prayer for God to deliver this man from the paws of the devil.... Now it appeared our prayers was in vain because he couldn't move and the flames had reach the inside of the truck.But God!!!!!! .....the flames were on the inside but the way my God is set up The Way It Look Like and what it is,None of the flames touched him and even after the car exploded once All these God blessed people ran back up ...Now the passenger even begged them to just let him die. End of Story he's Alive and well. ...... Jesus that's my God __________________________________________________
The man was carried to safety. Moments later, everyone on the scene heard the car making loud popping noises.
"I said 'this car is going to blow. Lord, please let me get this man out,'" Bridgforth said.
The driver was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Police recovered one item from the burned car: a Bible.
"That is God," said Eugene McNeil. "If you don't believe it, I don't know what to say."
What will a scoffer do with the scripture that angels are sent to help those who will gain eternal life?

One day each of us have to answer for "every idle word": , "For it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."
Such is the unimaginable terror that will one day be the lot of those who mock God and His power to save those who call upon His name.
Yes, God's ways are unsearchable. He does not answer every prayer according to our wishes - if he was obligated to do so then that would make US God. We "approach the throne of God with confidence" yet must always confess: "Not my will but thine."
Well this is to be cheap about God too, as if He had nothing better to do but threaten.
God is seeking to bless people, not curse them, but many people are tending to refuse the blessings.

Some people cry put to God when in trouble. Some people do not.

Peter at Pentecost quoted Joel about what would come BEFORE the Day of the Lord:
Acts 2:17-19
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
Paul also quotes from this passage to show how calling on the name of the Lord is consistent with the Gospel message of the current dispensation.
So, yes, miracles will, according to scripture, be part of the things God does in the last days.
