It’s stories like these that make me question if I should have the “organ donor” endorsement on my DL. So many stories about going to harvest on a person who could make a full recovery.

Just in recently in Texas. This man literally saved his son’s life. Shame nobody values life anymore, just the almighty dollar.

I am not an organ donor but be prepared that instead of opting “in” soon we’ll be automatic organ donors and you’ll have to specifically opt out.

I would never want to be a parent put into that position as to have to make such a decision.....

Back in 2001 my step-father had to decide after my half brother was pronounced brain dead as a result of an auto accident and lay in a coma for a week.......

It was some solace that his heart was immediately donated to a young person awaiting a heart transplant...........
