Vanity: Help Me Understand Why You Don't Believe That We Are Owned by the "Establishment?"
Me ^ | 02/27/2016 | Self

Posted on 02/27/2016 12:18:49 PM PST by Yaelle

All these threads each week go up: why are you actually voting for Trump? Can't anyone explain to me why you, so many of you, hear our heartfelt careful explanations, and never even respond or register that it might be so that our elections are an establishment game?

Isn't it obvious by now that our government is more responsive to a sort of cabal of powerful global entities than to our aged parchment under glass in DC? Our Constitution IS our country. Our representatives all the way up to President (especially President) pretty much ignore it.

For a long time, we, the People have been presented, red, white and blue streamers included, with elections every four years to help us feel a part of the system. But our choices have been covered by this cabal, with bought or controllable candidates on each side of the Uniparty. Sure, we can choose, but only among these. Any true candidate not owned by the uniparty already (or a "sure sale" after the election) is painstakingly removed from the menu by their subservient media.

The media work for whoever controls everything, and it sure isn't a government by, for, and of the people. Do you really think it still is? Part of the reason they don't teach civics in schools any more, not just because they don't want Americans to know about their Gd-given rights, is because students would LAUGH at the lies in our founding documents at this point. How could they not? Clearly we are serfs to a ruling entity at this point, and you cannot argue otherwise.

We haven't had a Presidential candidate feared BY THE RULERS since Ronald Reagan. Right now, the greedy powers that be own Hillary and Rubio, and though it's a long shot for him to win the nom, they believe they can get to and own Cruz as well. They can't get to Trump. His family is independently wealthy and protected. He is not playing along with their lying rule over us, and they are scared and vicious in their attempts to stop him. They also have little sway over Sanders but they figure they will knock him out.

The game they play on little old We, the conservative People is: Stick with your principles. Vote your principles. Find the perfect conservative and vote for him.

It's a useless game. They have the end covered. It is to make us feel good. It doesn't affect their election. Not voting for the guy who might be able to beat back their takeover, who might lead a new generation of people ready to fight rather than just suck at their phony teats, only helps them.

Do you really think that when you die you will be rewarded for voting for a candidate for President who had no chance of winning but clung to a religion, didn't cheat on his spouse, and seemed to match more conservative criteria, over voting for someone to free the country from serfdom to an elite cabal?

Cruz might be as religious and as conservative as he says he is. Sure, he made a ton of questionably ethical mistakes in his campaign, and he’s a tough person to listen to or watch. But maybe he is a true blue conservative.

CAN HE AVOID BEING BOUGHT OR THREATENED? I don’t think he can. He has small children whom he can’t independently protect.

If you believe we are being slowly taken farther and farther away from our Constitution, who is independent enough to even try to stop it?

Wow, Huckabee says some good stuff. I’ve been so harsh on him over the years. He might have to serve me some crow under glass if he keeps this up.

he was donating, Trump was not running for anything and used politicians to get business done. The calculating pols knew this, so Trump was on the politicians/ hit list as a sucker who/d write a check, no questions asked.

Exactly, and he is so honest about it.

It's not about "who is more conservative."

it's so much BIGGER than that and so it's amazing that so many otherwise smart and thoughtful people here on FR can't see it. But people come to understanding of things at different rates. Hopefully it won't be too late by the time the Cruzies figure it out.

Not blinded...my eyes are wide open...
He’s not a establishmentt guy...
Look at his enemies to define who or what he is.....
The establishment is melting down over ensuring he doesn’t get the nomination....

Trump is irrelevant to this debate, he is the LEAST establisment candadate ever. Because he doesn’t need there money.

Anyone who doesn’t yet believe we are not being played like fools needs to start reading at THe Conservative Treehouse where it lays out as clear as day:

http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/08/09/gope-2016-road-map-to-victory-tree-house-challenge/

The puppetmasters are the GOP Elite, primarily Rience Priebus and Mitch McConnell, and the US Chamber of Commerce, Tom Donovan. They have conspired since 2008 to rig this election for their 100% bought-and-paid-for candidate, Jeb!

The only reason Jeb! doesn’t have 100 EVs right now is Donald J. Trump. Every other candidate was either planted for their own purposes or an insurgent like Cruz or Carson who they could have easily squashed.

Trump is a billionaire and about as establishment as they come. He has made a career of conning people into agreeing to various “deals”. Sometimes they work out and sometimes he goes bankrupt. But many fall for con artists. A sucker is born every minute.

No, it’s just the opposite. Trump used the establishment like toilet paper to get what he wanted, so he KNOWS damn well how owned they are.

And we, as conservatives, ARE blinded, but not by Trump. We are blinded by the two jersey colors, blue and red, and we coalesce around the most red jersey we can find, NOT SEEING that it’s a little game they set for us to fool us.

He said, “Part of the beauty of me is that I’m rich.” Indeed that is a huge part of his beauty. It would take an independently resourced guy to do this.

Thank you. I really wish everyone could see just how big this really is. The establishment doesn’t have an R or a D, though it seems to prefer “progressive” policies because they allow more power to an elite who doles things out.

After seeing you post this, I took a look at your previous postings. You're presenting yourself as an ass. Focus on persuading your opponents with logic instead of projecting all the time. No one cares how good it makes you feel. People come here for conservative thought, not insults. If you drive half the forum away with your and your consorts vitriol, you will lose a spectrum of principal led conservative opinion. Or ignore my advice, insult me, wash-rinse-repeat.

He was threatening to sue because Cruz said that this is what the Don believes NOW.

That is a lie.

Personally, I’m sick of the media picking our candidates for us with half-truths and out-right lies. The 4th estate is completely corrupt.

It’s not just about politics. It’s about the private citizen that gets caught in their snare. Many, MANY lies are ruined because of the media in this day and age. Look at the dentist who went lion hunting. Look at the cops who’re smeared before the facts come out and have their careers ruined. Remember how many innocent Americans have had their faces splashed all over prime-time news after a mass shooting when the media gets the wrong guy?

There is no more ‘fair and balanced journalism’. The media doesn’t report facts. EVERYTHING is tainted now.

Yes. They should be held responsible for bad reporting. They destroy lives every damn day.

RE your sucker is born every minute -

A sucker is also slowly boiled in warming water like a frog. I was you not long ago, believing that choosing the most conservative candidate was important and relevant. It would be, in a decent world where our country was run by the Constitution. Can’t you see that it is run by a controlling entity who doesn’t have our Gd given freedom at heart?

If you only respond here with negative things about Trump as a person, or his past actions, you’re not really responding to my post: I am asking if you think we have a free country, following the constitution, where we have the leisure to vote for the guy with the most conservative personal crews?
OK. I don't think we're anywhere near as free as we used to be, or as free as we ought to be.

But Trump isn't going to help that. He can't even distinguish his positions from those of Bernie Sanders, he thinks that the "people" can't be trusted to take back federal reserves, he loves that the government can take away someone's house so that he can bulldoze it to build a parking lot for his own benefit, and so on.

I reject thugs and bullies, even when they claim to be on the same side as me.
