So that must have been when HI was under British rule, right?

His father was a British subject as were all of his children before Kenyan independence.
Said so on Obama’s website.

“”The “summaries” are simply the 1040 forms by themselves.””

Finally! That would be the first two pages of the 1040 I’m guessing, without any accompanying schedules. Nothing else would qualify as a “copy”....

Can’t locate the article by the L.A. Times on a recent thread but the reporter looked old enough to have filed a few returns in his life and still referred to ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME as ADJUSTED GROWTH INCOME for either Cruz or Rubio.

I wonder why no one is publishing what was supposedly released by them. You can find tax returns online all day long that the Clintons and obozos have filed - including the Clinton Foundation(s).

Yes, his father was a British Subject but where and when did obozo say HE was? I believe ALL the man’s children were born in Kenya with the POSSIBLE EXCEPTION of obozo - (no one knows for sure) and you’re saying obozo said he, himself during his campaigns was born in Kenya?

If that was true, why would the controversy of the past 8 years even be a story - born in HI or not born in HI?????

Even if born in Hawaii, his foreign national father’s nationality descends to him. All foreign national fathers bequeath foreign national citizenships even if they are not acted on, as in Rubio’s case. He could have chosen to be a Cuban citizen because his parents were. For obvious reasons he never acted on it.
Cruz is different in that he never acted on his father’s Cuban citizenship, but was born a Canadian citzen, not acting on his US citizenship until he was a teenager.
He only renounced his Canadian citzenship recently.

Thanks loads - don’t know why I couldn’t find them....

Sure wish we had the schedules to look at....Cruz senate salary is $174,000 per year. 2014 Form 1040 - Line (7) Income: Wages, salaries, tips, etc., is $983,161.. The difference between that and his senate salary is $809,000.

That line is specifically WAGES, SALARIES ETC., - NOT OTHER Income so what accounts for the rest? Can’t be rents, royalties, dividends etc., as they would be accounted for elsewhere.

Going to look at 2013 the year he entered the senate and see how much of an increase 2014 is over 2013...

An increase in 2014 over 2013 in Wages, Salaries -
983,161 - 915,583 = $67,578....

Wonder why he had Self Employment Tax in 2014 ($5,088) and ($13) in 2013. Who had to declare self employment income in 2014 - he or his wife? There is business income declared on the 2014 return for $190,000.

Just curious..I think tax returns of the rich and famous politicians are interesting - would be more so if we had the whole picture.

Unless Godgunsguts post has been edited, I didn’t see the word fraud anywhere in his post. He simply posted an article showing that Cruz and Rubio have both released their returns and are challenging Trump to do the same. There is nothing wrong with this article and I don’t understand why Godgunsguts got the zot over this.

This is a valid news story and it seems odd that any mention of this is being censored with a zot on Free Republic. Godgutsguns is a Cruz supporter not a Rubio supporter like the one you zotted earlier this week so I really don’t understand why you suspended him.

If his crime was posting an article that was critical of Trump than I can assure you that I have posted much more critical articles about Trump than this.

"The “summaries” are simply the 1040 forms by themselves."

Thank you for stating the obvious. Be it Trump, Cruz, Rubio or others, I care nothing about their tax returns. The tax code is obscene, so why care if someone gets away with paying less? I only care if they are equipped to lead our nation back to its fundamental roots that made it the most prosperous nation in history and the envy of the World.

Although Trump irritates me to no end with his lame Perot "fix it" rhetoric, he does have a good record of hiring the best people for the job. I just hope that he does the same with a Newt, Sessions, Bolton, Cruz, West, etc. I can dream.

If you want a list of potential Cabinet Secretaries, look at the Heritage Foundation for conservative percentiles.

Since when has it been a constitutional requirement that a candidate publishes his tax return? Since when is it a conservative principle to demand a candidate to do so against his will and his personal liberty? Since when does a constitutional lawyer who “has defended the constitution and the bill of rights for his entire adult life” make demands to violate an individual’s fourth amendment rights to be secure in his personal papers and effects? And where does he come off accusing a private citizen of committing crimes based on no evidence whatsoever? And why would a “principled conservative” poster accuse an individual of “fraud” (in his posted keyword) based on no evidence whatsoever?

You people need to wake up if you think you’re defending the constitution with fascism!

If you are so worried about appearances, what appearance is conveyed by fabricating reasons not to release tax returns?

Rank in the Cruz SA?

Yes we should just eat our peas and continue to vote for career ‘conservative’ politicians because it’s worked out so well for us the past ~25 years. /s

The definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

Maybe so, but the masses of rebellious voters who are getting ready to elect him are totally fed up with lying scumbag politicians and corruption as usual in DC that they’re going to rebel anyway. And there’s not a damn thing you or I or any other person on FR or in the media or within the principled conservative movement or the republican party or the uni-party can do about it, so buckle up, keep your head, arms and legs within the car at all times, because it’s going to be one hell of a ride.

Go, Trump, GO!!

The rebellion is ON!!
