What I’m wondering is who in the world stays up until after midnight just to get their vote in. There’s over 100 votes between midnight and 2am. Why aren’t they just waiting until they check in in the morning? This is unusual behavior. Makes me think there is more to this than meets the eye.

I remember how frustrating it was when we had 17 candidates. The other side was right when they called our primary a ‘clown car’.

It was ridiculous. Most of those people had no business running, because they never stood a chance. Their only reason for being in the race was to split votes away from anyone not named Bush.

Personally, I think the nominating contest was over last summer. Everything we’ve endured since then has been an exercise in fighting gravity. It’s just my view, but in my observation, the clear will of the Republican electorate has been expressing itself since before the first ballot was cast.

I doubt anyone is purposely staying up past their bedtime to vote in our little caucus. The first hundred votes you see are just the usual crew of night owls. Besides, it runs a full 24 hours every day. No matter what your normal freeping hours, you can participate.

“Wow Cruz nosedived in FR caucus poll yesterday and Trump climbed, I guess reality is starting to set in with the ‘others’.”

The handwriting on the wall is definitely coming into sharper focus for many.

“Interesting that last night, after the most brutal attack in American TV history of a presidential candidate by three candidates, three panelists, and on the heels of one nationally telecast diatribes by the nominee from the last election, on this night Trump score the greatest margin of victory on the FR caucus.”

Amazing, isn’t it? The more that gets hurled at Trump, the stronger he gets, and yes, I believe it’s due to the American people taking those attacks personally. It only hardens their resolve and support for the man.

If the establishment understood Sun Tzu, they would have paraded out a string of our perceived enemies to endorse Trump. They should have had McConnell, McCain, Boehner, Ryan, Romney, Thurmond, Dole, MSNBC, BJ Clinton, et al, singing his praises, or saying nice things about him.

They could have played us like a fiddle, but they’re just not bright enough or bold enough to even formulate that type of high grade political jiu jitsu.

That's sort of my point. It seems that a very large percentage of participants are voting between 0000 and 0400. I would think there would be more normal daytime hours voters. Just seems odd to me.

Ah....sorry, I didn’t grasp that in your other post. I agree. That’s an interesting observation. Perhaps it’s because the link gets buried in the sidebar by new news items over the course of the morning hours.
