You have a cynical view of business. I developed one project and I never even found out how you locate someone to buy. I had to please countless department bureaucrats and pay and pay for the right studies and permits but in the end we got our project approved, and finally built. It added a great improvement to the property and eventually (because of a favorable market) led to a positive business result. I. E. we got our expenses back and made a little money on top of this.
This is the way most developments go and this is the government we get. (We get what we pay for?)
Trump has been in many deals such as the description I provided from my personal experience. That he has succeeded in amassing billions is a pretty good resume for his abilities to lead. I believe his actual worth is probably less than 10 B because accountants count something related to brand names as “good will”. Trump has counted the Trump name as good will and valued it to some unknown extent. His tax returns are not the place to see this, most companies that are public have to divulge these things. Trump is not public, but still has to use generally accounting principles. I suppose I could capitalize this for you, but you get the picture.

A thief is always going to be a thief and an liar is always going to lie. Evangelicals are better than that, and they also know Canadian Cruz didn’t release his taxes because he doesn’t give his 10% to the church or charities.

I have a cynical view of Trump based on masses of evidence, that he is a crude, vacuous, morally bankrupt crony capitalist, in it for personal aggrandizement. I don’t think he has spent 10 seconds thinking about the bill of rights the constitution or what it means. I believe he believes that a nation, to be great must kick an enemy while it’s down, should steal wealth from nations like Genghis Khan, should torture and murder innocents to make a point, should frighten the world just to feel superior!
That’s who i think Donald Trump is in his soul.
