It is ludicrous to argue that, because the hard Left is primarily responsible for the outbreak of chaos and violence that caused Donald Trumps Chicago rally to be canceled last night, it is wrong to condemn the thuggery Trump often encourages at his appearances. Trump has encouraged physical battery at his campaign events, even telling supporters hed pay their legal fees if they get arrested for assaulting dissenters. (See, e.g., Iowa event: So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of em, would you? Seriously. Okay? Just knock the hell I promise you, I will pay for the legal fees. I promise. I promise; see also Las Vegas event: regarding an unruly protester removed by security, Trump tells crowd, Id like to punch him in the face. Hes smiling, having a good time.) Trump has continued to fan these flames even after it has become obvious that some of his supporters are acting on the invitation to resort to violence. Incitement to violence is a crime; incitement to violence at a large rally is incitement to riot a crime that can get people badly injured or even killed.

Had Cruz cited Matt 7:6, he would be accused by the Trump advocates of calling him a pig.
I'm not going to argue with you. This is the only response you will ever get from me.
Then by all means: apprise me of the facts you're referring to, but I'll ask the same question, which I wonder if you'll duck again; do they rise to the level I outlined, because there is surely no other legally defensible standard.
Pettifoggery is not a worthwhile endeavor.
It is evident that some are downright fearful that direct confrontation with the Left will ultimately lead to violence and worse.
History proves that we cannot all just get along.
You have just described political correctness.
Either Trump has free speech, or he does not.
Sorry, to me Cruz should have directed his fire only at the hard-left protesters and saved his other fight against Trump for another day. You disagree, so there is no point belaboring this further. We’ll see what impact this has on Cruz’s support, but from what I saw on FR yesterday, I think it’s going to drop his support significantly.
Thank you for nailing that Snide Phony Bushbot playing Confederate soldier dress up .
Anyone who had family involved in that conflict never talked about it again . Jeb Cruz was taking orders from his
owners the Bushes and DC / Wall street owners .
Old Jebbie Cruz literally spat out the same talking points NEIL BUSH is owner said 15 minutes earlier on CNN !!!
Once a Bushbot always a Bushbot !
So if Cruz wins the nomination, who do you vote for? I will be voting for the GOP nominee, either Cruz or Trump. I prefer it be Cruz.
It is clear that the left/progressives are staging these attacks.
The one guy who charged the stage in Dayton has bee found to have had supportive things to say about ISIS for heaven’s sake.
The MSM and DNC are giving them covering fire, trying to proclaim that it is Trumps fault...and they are now being joined by people in the GOP.
Thats clearly Bravo Sierra.
Trump has been over the top in some of his comments...but only at people who were already there trying to shout him down t his own rallies.
Now these same operatives/plants have been instructed to up their ante because they think they have Trump cornered and thinking that people will just sit there and take it.
Well, they’re wrong.
Why do you prefer Donald?
“Neither, just correct.”
It would seem so.
Liberals fault. The more they act themselves (animals),
the more people will gravitate toward Trump./s/but true.
Like Jan Morgan (post #78) who was endorsing Cruz and after Cruz sided with moveon.org and BLM and the Bushes she switched to a true American, Donald Trump.
Cruz lost 277,000 twitter followers OVERNIGHT. Wow, he is taking a beating on Facebook too.
You need to check YOUR talking points.
CRUZ did NOT blame TRUMP...he said the PROTESTERS
were at fault.
OBama used the same incitement...
“ If they bring a knife, we will bring a GUN”
“ get in your neighbor’s face”
We all thought that very inappropriate and inciteful.
IT WAS.... it WAS for OBAMA and it IS FOR TRUMP.
Fair enough. I respect a white man who is happy to defend a non-PC part of our history. That’s why I support Trump - he’s not afraid to fight PC. Cruz doesn’t have this trait.
I have some shocking news for you, we’ve probably already gone over that cliff. You see, Trump supporters feel like there is nothing to lose at this point, and maybe, just maybe, Trump can lift us back up from the hole we fell into.
Cruz sure ain’t gonna do it... he and Rubio were part of the last push over the cliff.
!!!!!!!!!!!
Right on!
NOT!!!!!!
