Etymology: Saturnine derives from the name of the planet Saturn, which in turn was named after the Roman god Saturnus. The original sense of the word had an astrological meaning, and referred to a person who was born under the influence of Saturn. Saturnine entered English early 1400s.

We had to break down and buy eggs this month but this morning, my little Barred Rock pullet, Charlotte, the noisy one, laid her first wee egg. She’s not a bantam chicken, but the first few eggs are always smaller than what they do later. She was quite proud of herself.

Now Breitbart has doxxed Ben Shapiro for resigning from them over their handling of Michele Fields incident. Utterly classless.
breitbart is totally unhinged. Shapiro was the only thing that saved them from being an arm of the Trump campaign. Michelle Fields I will honestly say I have never cared for, so I am not all worked up over that incident. But the HANDLING of that incident by breitbart exposes them as in the tank for trump.
I had mistakenly thought Michelle was a trumpbot. I guess she is not #nevertrump, but not a trumpbot either. that’s fine. I can respect that.
I try to avoid clicking on Breitbart. It gives my computer fits with all of its pop ups.
I never knew of her before. This exposes the willingness to lie, to lie brazenly and to have all the Trump followers nod their heads.
oh it does that for sure. but their radio show on Patriot radio on Sirius is pure unadulterated cheerleading for Trump. Stephen K. Bannon is ridiculous.

I do intend to call out a couple of posters there for their completely out of context use of Jesus's words about praying in private.
We’re trying to vote out our mayor too. In fact, th last time I saw him he was drunk and making a spectacle at one of our GOP debate watching parties. We got him to join the GOP as a campaign tool last election, but he’s no Republican and he didn’t renew his dues. We have a much better Republican challenging him.
Our mayor has gotten a lot of us crosswise on development issues. He got the city to pay 3 times the the assessed value for a piece of property, threw in 12 acres of city-owned prime land or free and sold it all to a developer for $1. And the developer was NOT the one chosen by the consultant that the city paid $60,000 to hire to help us choose. The buildings that the “chosen” developer has already built in the city center are UGLY, crowded, with no parking and don’t fit with the character of this city at all.
Then, he got the council (all but one) to OK a $9 million bond issue to expand the maintenance garage. We’re calling it “The Garage-ma-hal”. It’s going to be tough, so wish us luck.
I just can’t take it anymore. of course Trump is far worse than Giuliani was. everything is excused, explained away, justified.
I remember the purge from a few years back, when JimRob declared he did not support Rudi and would not tolerate Rudi supporters trashing the conservative candidates in the primary. The Rudibots were nasty and vitriolic and most of them got banned. I think a lot of them came back later and apologized and were allowed back in. (Most of them are probably trumpbots now.)
I don’t think Andrew would recognize what his site has become.
