Politicians do when the Press puts out info that is making them look bad and takes them out of context.
Name one person who corrects everything the press says wrong. No one does that. It isn’t possible.
Any politician that wants to win corrects things that get WIDE news coverage and makes them look bad.
If the press said Donald told his followers to rape Hillary. Would he correct it? You bet he would. Fact is he didn’t mind this one being told the way it was told. Now he owns it.
And by the way, Trump did correct them this time, and that seems to be what you and the other protestors are complaining about. You complain because he corrected their lie, and you complain because he didn’t correct their lie. Which bothers you more?

When did I complain that he corrected the lie? Waiting until violence outbreaks isn’t exactly correcting the lie. That’s like after you get caught you say I’m sorry.
What did he get caught doing? He was caught being lied about, and you’re complaining that instead of apologizing for being lied about, he told the truth.
