I predict Trump will get the votes he needs before the convention. If not Trump will have a massive lead and can’t be denied.

There would have to be some speech on the first day...from some highly respected Republican (there aren’t many left) that people would be driven to accept some brokered deal.
It would take someone with the believably of Reagan. Maybe they could wheel Cheney out or find someone like Clint Eastwood to deliver this type of speech.

Trump will have sufficient delegates by the time the convention rolls around, and all the establishment hacks now trying to de-rail him will be trying even harder to get on his good side to hold onto what power and prestige they can.
Hillary wins. Dems take back the senate.
Trump, Cruz, and whoever need to settle things before the convention.
Cruz and Trump delegates will make sure Trump or Cruz is the nominee. The party bosses can talk all the trash they want in the media, the State Delegations have much different ideas and they, not the bosses, do the nominating.
I suspect a floor fight among the Romney faction and the Trump factions.
Unfortunately, Ted Cruz will have little say in what happens in that floor fight. He will be romanced by Romney and will be betrayed by Romney in the end once his usefulness has been drained.

Yeah, this. I think all the hype about a convention fight is just the media being desperate for clicks and print media sales. It’s all for show. Trump will get across the finish line, probably comfortably. Cruz and Kasich are losing steam and will shortly run out of money.
There will be no brokered convention.
Bonus prediction: Mitt Romney will be physically ejected by Joe the Plumber.
Trump will get knocked off, a funny thing will happen to Cruz after that on the way to nomination, Kasich is their boy.
Trump supporters drink too much of the kool aid and overdose. Cruz gets the nomination.
The arrogance of the eGOP will make them try, we’ll balk, and Trump will go 3rd party holding that eGOP pledge in his hands showing that the eGOP does not deserve any American’s vote. We’ll vote Trump in as a 3rd party and both the eGOP and the rats will lose massive support in the following congressional election.
Hopefully Trump voters will take such an object lesson to heart and turn their attentions to scouring the rot out at all remaining levels this Fall.
There will be no broken convention. Trump will win the delegates counts outright.
Needed or not, something akin to it will occur and the Republican party will insure that the USA takes the final turn down the road to State Socialism thus insuring its own demise.
