Nice of the article to misrepresent the criticism of Ted Cruz. The actual comment at issue, left out of the article is:
“It is striking, on the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO, withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamic terrorist attack.”
So yes, sure. Cruz doesn’t use the words “Donald Trump is to blame”, but the fact that in the wake of a terrible incident like this, he said Donald Trump’s name a bunch of times and also implicated that somehow, support for NATO will stop idiotic open borders policies of Europe letting in ISIS does mean that he’s a desperate moron and has no principles whatsoever.
