Especially in .380. Why couldn't they stick a 9mm or even a .40 S&W in there? Hell, that handle looks hefty enough to handle a .357 Magnum or perhaps a .45ACP.

A .40,.357.,or 45 ACP would make it too wide or too heavy or too unsteady. A 9mm might work. At $395 they must not be using the highest and lightest quality of steel.
You ever try handling a 40 in a “ccw” type weapon?
The M&P sheild in 40 is ridiculous with it’s recoil.
Doubletap tactical has a pistol that looks like this phone/gun. Even in a 9mm, that recoil is killer and I used to own a few G20’s and G29’s.
Seems like the market for this would be a last resort type of weapon.
