In perfect tabloid fashion one can expect this time in a contentious election cycle (remember Herman Cain), supermarket tabloid The National Enquirer decided to fabricate a sex scandal about Ted Cruz that could be the plot for a sequel to Eyes Wide Shut if it weren't so unbelievable.

What is the value of a story filled with anonymous women and that really only says that private investigators are digging into this stuff? From what I read, I am not even sure the NE is claiming they have any proof any of this happened, just that some other people are digging into it.
Apparently the pictures were not so blurred that some people couldn’t identify them and apparently asked one of the women. That is all I know. This is a trash rag that has endorsed Trump and it doesn’t surprise me they’d run a typical trashy story about one of “the Donalds” competitors - who appears increasingly likely to win the next primary in Wisconsin.
Look it’s pretty simple, one of the “anonymous” women looks quite clearly to be Trump’s current campaign spokesperson. So why not just ask her? She will almost certainly deny it and the legs get cut out of an already sketchy pile of nonsense.

Same here. I was on board for Cruz from the beginning, but he started to peg out my creepy meter. Told my wife a couple of weeks ago that I thought something wasn’t right about him.

You realize she also said it was “categorically false” and “tabloid trash”. She didn’t just clam up and say “talk to my lawyer” as some Trumpanzees are trying to suggest.
This is a trash story promoted by a trash tabloid that endorsed and supports Donald Trump - the same Donald Trump who himself has spewed trash, lies, insults, etc, the entire way through the campaign.

Wonder what NE has as proof or what tip(s) lead them to the story.
The press would ask Trump about it, if the NE alleged he currently had five mistresses. Why would Cruz not be asked?

Well the logic going around is that since The Gawker just lost 100 million dollars, there would be no way this is a false story.
