I honestly think Cruz is angling for Attorney General or a nomination to SCOTUS. For Cruz, throwing his weight behind Trump in exchange for one of those spots does a couple of things. Most notably, it takes the nomination proces out of the hands of the GOP since together Cruz and Trump have 90% of the delegates.

Trump was always been open about his cheating. Adultery is okay if you're proud of it?

You can probably count on one hand the number of Congress-critters that are faithful to their wives.

The lack of being able to deny certainly isn’t good, but the fact he had to hide behind Carly’s skirt, that ends him.

First...I support Trump. But if one of the requirements to becoming a U.S. President is your faithfulness to your spouse that would let out a whole segment of the population big time. I think Cruz has likely been unfaithful, and I think it likely a tremendous amount of politicians have also been unfaithful to their spouse. As mentioned over and over, Cruz’ biggest sin is running his holier than thou campaign like a Jimmy Swaggert wannabe. And we know how it ended for Jimmy Swaggert. He must come clean, and do it in a way where he garners sympathy. He’ll lose votes, but he’s losing them now anyway.

Agree 100% . . . The NE story put Cruz in a lose - lose situation.
Maybe he had nothing to do with the five women alluded to in their article, BUT, hit with a Yes or No questions to clear himself he punted!! So I have to believe something is there that will bite him if it comes out.
Also, what was Carly doing there?? I know enough to know that they are not terribly fond of each other, so why was she carrying Ted’s water??
So now we wait . . . tick, tick, tick. When does the next shoe drop??

And the Cruz campaign continues to poor mouth their supporters for more and more donations while funneling those thousands of small contributions to mega, mega, millionaire Carly Fiorina. Ted is now in the control of the GOPe. He is one of them.

Is there anyone left who does not believe that Ted is not a lying hypocrite and false prophet who has had multiple affairs?
Boy, you people are so easily led. No wonder this country is in the state it is. May I remind you that not a scintilla of proof has been offered for any of these allegations--and no accuser has emerged. It's a "scandal" made of nothing but the ill-wishes of immoral muckrakers in the Trump camp. If they had any shame, they'd be ashamed of themselves.

Devils advocate here, one reason for not answering is it would give the media a soundbite of him discussing himself. Instead, he gave them soundbites attacking Trump and the reporter.
Cruz said the allegations were "garbage." How is that not a denial? The fact is that the Trump-friendly media wants to keep the story alive, so they will keep asking for denials. When Cruz turns the question on Trump, it defeats their purpose.
To get where he is in this race, Cruz has had to be a master strategist. So far, so good.

To me the fact that he can't manage that is as good as an admission of guilt.
Fortunately, no one cares what you think.

This is Goebbles at his best. Keep saying the lie and people will eventually believe it.
That's exactly what it is. Where's the proof? There is none. But that hasn't stopped some very low-life people here on FR and elsewhere from continually promoting the story. To them I say: "Produce actual proof or...

‘I dont even think Ted sCruz is a conservative.’
That mask fell off when he blamed Trump for Soros’ paid rent-a-mob. Conservatives blame the guilty. Liberals give the guilty a pass by blaming the innocent. Cruz placed himself squarely in Camp Liberal when he said Trump was to blame for Anarchists, BLM, and whatever other assorted thugs Soros rounded up to harass and besmirch Trump.

The question asked twice by the Daily Mail reporter never mentioned anybody specific. All it asked was if he could say that he has been faithful to his wife. No gotcha in that, period. Cruz would not answer the very simple question and the next time it is asked Snarly Carly jumps in to attack Trump. Meanwhile Heidi has cancelled all campaign appearances first in New Jersey, then Wisconsin and now in New York.
Maybe your gotcha can figure that one out.

Cruz shouldn’t answer. This way there is no bimbo eruption. He says he is faithful, someone will crawl out of the woodwork and say she slept with Cruz. Doesn’t have to be true, just has to be said.
If you don’t answer the question, it becomes irrelevant to anyone except those that are looking to bury Cruz.

How many times did Trump pretend to be a man of god, lied about cheating on his wife while cheating on his wife? Thats the correct question. It's pretty hard to be a hypocrite if you don't claim to have any values in the first place.

I’m not running for office and being hounded by the media, and frankly since it is unsubstantiated and is a gotcha question, it doesn’t dignify a response.
How did the rumor get started anyway? Oh yeah, by the National Enquirer, only one step below the NY Slimes.
