I’m glad to see comments here and there noting that Trump’s kids are crazy about him.

That is something RARE. The majority of men do NOT succeed in being good friends with their children. The relationship of the majority of men with their fathers is a truce.

That “what difference does it make” outburst was NOT spontaneous. She rehearsed that, and had it all prepared for that moment when she would need to disrupt the questioning.

I was watching Cruz’s victory speech in Wisconsin.

If Trump had won, he’d be saying things like “Wow!” and “I love you all!”

Cruz was talking in stentorian, pompous tones as though he had just completed the invasion and liberation of Europe from the Nazis. (A lot of good that did.) I just can’t stand the pomposity.

That’s another interpretation. I think, however, it would still lead you to the same content of her character, infused with a psychotic killer’s mind, though. A calculated disruption that employs all of the dead she caused? It was her work, from the dereliction that caused it to the deaths themselves through the cover up, as evidenced by her emails to Chelsea.

The entire Democrat party, from top to bottom, is a vast sociopathic criminal conspiracy.

It always was. Slavery, Jim Crow, graft, boodling, two world wars, socialism, conspiring with the Soviets, and to top it all off, abortion.

It should be no surprise that the sociopaths gravitated to one party early in the history of the Republic, and stuck together.

That's all I ever pick up from Ted, and if I take a second and put aside that it appears as if he's trying to manipulate ... in other words ... if I put aside that whatever his face is, it doesn't seem genuine ... I am left with "I have zero idea what drives this man"

I have yet to see a human being living inside the debater orator shell.

That means what's behind the dark eyes could be anything. Not that it's necessarily bad ... but I wouldn't hire an alligator or walrus or an alien to watch my china shop. Nothing against alligators, walrus or alien's ... just that I don't know what goes on inside them so I can't predict them, don't know the actual value structure that will drive their external plans and actions.

Then I add back that while not everyone who wears a mask is hiding something nefarious, most are. Many don't even know they are hiding something nefarious (man's default unchecked mind-driven state is always nefarious - the Bible is quite clear on this and you don't need to be a literal Bible believer to get the lesson,) and it may not even be intentionally nefarious. Ambitious people generally convince themselves they are doing it for the good of others or because they are on a mission from God ... or even because they are a direct instrument of God's purpose, and they substitute their own ambition into 'what God wants of me'. While we are in fact one with God, our thoughts unchecked are not themselves Gods thoughts and our will is not God's will unless we are very very pure - few are - fewer still are following Ted's short and mostly charmed life story.

Cruz strikes me as eminently susceptible to the delusion that what he wants personally for himself is actually not merely what he desires, but emanating from God is or revealed truth, that whatever pops into his mind is good just because it popped into his mind.

That's the fundamental human delusion which, when it takes hold of humans as individuals and then when they find support amongst men ... when human beings start causing misery.

And so it's not that hubris, false pride, pomposity are noxious to watch in general (though they are,) it's that it's a sign of a mind unencumbered by a humble self-checking thought process ... why so many intelligent people act like morons or worse, cause a ton of damage ... or in a way equal to that ... are totally ineffective at leading (O is a great example of that third problem mixed with a lot of the other 2.)

Well, I can’t imagine that anyone who, on the night he wins a primary, shouts, in full emotional televangelist mode, “To GAWD be the GLOW-REE!” doesn’t think he’s on a mission directly from Gawd.

Yep, no doubt about it...Ted Cruz is on ‘Auto-Co-pilot’.

My take is that Ted Cruz is at least as “genuine” as Don Trump. Trump’s publicly stated positions have been all over the place. He often seems to say what he thinks will play well at any given time. That doesn’t bode well for how he would govern if elected president. Not to mention his shifting views on a number of issues over the years...

The proof in a persons intentions is not how they appear, or how they speak - it’s their actions. Cruz has done exactly what he said he would do when running for senator, and there’s absolutely no reason to suppose he would suddenly switch away from his solidly Constitutional approach to government.

Cruz has been disgracefully smeared with no hard evidence of wrongdoing. Those who’ve done so absolutely deserve a Dem president, which is the likely outcome of a Trump nomination.

All that said, I will reluctantly vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. I will simply have to hope my assessment of him is way off base, that he will somehow win the general election, and that at least he will nominate mostly conservative Supreme Court justices. A Dem win would be a disaster.

“I will simply have to hope my assessment of him is way off base,” .... Posting phone so no formatting ... Yeah if Cruz wins it I’ll vote for him ... And ... Just hope I’m wrong about him. I’d be happy to be wrong, in fact very very very happy to be wrong.
