What if Trump…? What if Cruz…?

What if Trump or Cruz is elected and manages to build the wall?

What if Trump or Cruz is elected and manages to control immigration from countries where the citizens hate our way of life?

What if Trump or Cruz is elected and exposes – and rids us of - the corruption in D.C.?

What if Trump or Cruz is elected and enacts legislation that helps to turn our economy around and bring back jobs?

What if Trump or Cruz is remembered as – at least – a Reagan-Lite?

On the other hand, what if Trump is what many of his detractors here say he is, a liberal – and governs as such?

On the other hand, what if Cruz is what many of his detractors here say he is, the establishment – and governs as such?

Do you believe your preferred candidate will follow through on his promises?

What if nothing changes?

Can you name anyone you supported who went on to gain office and later disappointed you?

I suppose my point is that we build up our preferred candidates only to sometimes regret our choices. If either Trump or Cruz win the Presidency, I will be content. If they accomplish what they say they will, I will be happy. Sadly, my experience gives me a more cynical outlook.

The tone here has become more “Spirited” as of late and many will be disappointed. I just hope that everyone comes together and supports our nominee (Cruz or Trump) and we are all pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

Cruz is the only one that has actually did what he said he’d do after he was elected.

And completely discounting Trump’s flip flopping record continues.

The tide has turned. Trump cannot get to 1237. Unless he can somehow use his magical powers of negotiating he will not be the nominee. He needs to convince the people he’s been pissing off for the past several months to vote for him. If he pulls that off it will truly be impressive and it will unite not only the party but the media as well. They will be awestruck and inspired by his ability to get things done. Everyone will agree Mexico will build and pay for the wall and China will reform its trade policies because Trump the Negotiator will get it done.

Baring that the nominee will be Cruz (unless Cruz and Trump try to screw each other by letting the GOPe get it).

Hey that's not fair. Trump only supported and helped Hillary and other awful democrats to get elected because he needed to make more money. How dare you expect a businessman to actually be a decent person! Now that he's a politician he's completely honest and reformed! I know because Trump told me he was.

It’s going to be Trump. The Cruzaders are going to hit the wall next Tuesday. It’s no more windmill tilting after Tuesday.
++++
If so I will vote for Trump.

If you are wrong and it’s Cruz vs Hillary will you give Cruz your vote?

Trump may not be the answer, but for certain all the others would not be. Time to give an outsider a chance whether you like him or not. All the others have had decades to do what
is right and look at the mess we are in.

Even as an insult or a joke, your post makes no sense at all. Which was it trying to be?

You could answer your own question pretty easily if you didn’t ignore all things Cruz.

Seriously, many of us have closed our eyes and ears to anything the candidate we don’t support says unless it can be used for an attack.

It’s probably a good thing most have already cast their votes in the primary.

I’ll add to your comment on requiring congressional support:
If they try to be Obama with dictatorial powers a GOP president will be impeached if they are despised by the party.

In your case, it is probably a compliment.

You wrote: And completely discounting Trump’s flip flopping record continues.

But--

"Back in 1999 -- 17 years ago -- when Donald Trump was considering a presidential run on the Reform Party ticket, he said this when asked about abortion by Tim Russert on "Meet the Press": "Well, look, I'm very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. I hate it. I hate everything it stands for. I cringe when I listen to people debating the subject. But you still -- I just believe in choice."

Russert then asked him specifically if he'd ban partial-birth abortion. Trump said, "No. I am pro-choice in every respect and as far as it goes, but I just hate it."

A year later, Trump wrote in his book "The America We Deserve": "When Tim Russert asked me on 'Meet the Press' if I would ban partial-birth abortion, my pro-choice instincts led me to say no. After the show, I consulted two doctors I respect and, upon learning more about this procedure, I have concluded that I would indeed support a ban."

Sometime in the intervening 16 years, Trump became fully pro-life.

You can say you don't believe him -- just as you might say you don't believe Cruz has truly changed his mind on amnesty, the wall, or the Trans-Pacific Partnership, etc. But to claim Trump is pro-choice today -- present tense -- is what's known as a "lie." "

Moonies for Cruz

This is just one example of the lies that cultists keep repeating.

And that's the crux (cruz?) of your argument--to tell a lie about Trump's positions. Just like Cruz does every single speech, practically every single sentence. Then there's this:

"Who would have thought back in 2008 or even 2012 that a future Republican Party would resemble the left in Alinsky tactics against its own? "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it" has begun to take its toll on Donald Trump and his millions of supporters on the right."

Party Unity

And the shills go on...

Yes they will. The uniparty only allows dictators when they dictate what they want.
