Kasich gets no floating delegates because he can’t swim, and therefore can’t get them out of the water. I can’t speculate on Cruz’s aquatics abilities, but Trump was sent by his father to the YMCA in Queens for lessons as a kid, so if need be he can pull floating delegates from the water.

You're right that Kasich gets no free delegates because the GOPe plan is to make Cruz think he's the one that they want. Delegates to Kasich would make that a harder sell.
