Maybe he's just saying. I figured he would not pick a former candidate.
I'd like to see Jeff Sessions, for one.

Yeah, I’d be disappointed if one of them ended up as his VP.

Rubio is ineligible so Trump won't go there.

Assuming ted doesn’t steal the nomination I think he picks Jan Brewer. He needs to shore up his cred with the ladies and he can win FLA without Rubio.

Yes. I like Marco Rubio. Yeah. I could,
How many Cabinet meetings would a Secretary Marco attend?

trump is merely talking about making his first near-presidential decision, and he’s already losing supporters.
this is a preview of the future, and it gives you some insight into some of the trump supporters.

If he wants Walker (the man we SHOULD have nominated for POTUS) I bet Walker is a big enough man to be courted with some grace and courtesy on The Donald's part. Walker will enrage unions, Demonrats, pro-aborts, and just about everyone worth aggravating and bring in a boatload of votes. I would have to vote for a ticket including Walker as would many others who are skeptical of Trump.
His Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch (sp.?) may or may not prove able to continue Walker's Wisconsin miracles but the nation needs him more. He wold be a particular cross for Schmucky Chewmer to bear when as VPOTUS he would preside over the Senate. Brass gonads, real backbone. Emphasizes brilliant performance over flash.

No way Rubio or Walker would be Trumps VP. That would kill their career. I have asked a bunch of times and no Trump supporter can answer this.
Trump has never fundraised in his life for politics. He will not self finance general. How does he raise $1B, half from contributions under $2700 and the rest SuperPac money.
Ted Cruz still has people working in Ohio, Florida, all the key States. Trump has nobody. His current state organization sucks as witnessed by delegate fiasco on his part. How does he put an organization together. No way does Cruz let his guys go, he has been paying the data guys for four years, will pay them to 2020.

So he has backed off Kanye ?
And just last week he said his VP needed like 25 years in Congress with good relations with them and the ability to get deals done.
So . . . That means Kasich. Or Harry Reid. Or Chuck Schumer.

It would be nice for him to pick his own VP, but Cruz screwed that up for him. Nasty creep he is.

I think Sessions would be brought in as a legislative organizer for a Trump administration. They will have issues with both Republican and Democratic parties, and it’ll take a guy like Sessions to organize and present the focus ahead.
To: Rusty0604
So many people are misreading this. Trump said, There are people I have in mind in terms of vice president. I just havent told anybody names."
He still hasn't named any VP names at all. He was just answering a question about whether he could see naming Rubio to "a position" in his administration, and said yeah, he liked Rubio, he liked a few other former competitors.
This is an absolute non-story. But the internet is abuzz with "Trump floated possible VP names" crapola. Gov. Walker already sneered at Trump when someone mistakenly told him Trump floated him. Trump never did.
To: Rusty0604
Like it if not, if it's Trump I bet it will be Trump/Kasich. Otherwise known as Florida/Ohio, Trump/GOP-e. All about trying to unite the party. One without the other Hillary wins. I'm voting Cruz in the NY primary. I'll vote Trump in the general.

Could be someone who’s been there and done that rather than someone who is now in the Senate or a Candidate. Trump probably has a few feelers out in unexpected places.
