Cool! I’m going to have to try this. Not really happy with LibreOffice

Hmmm ...
I’ve been quite happy with OpenOffice.org; this looks interesting and worth a try.
Interesting that this comes from Germany; the original Star Office (from which OO.org and Libre Office are descended) also came from Germany.

I use LibreOffice on my work laptop (RHEL6) and have not had a problem. Where I really could use a replacement product is Visio as I do a lot of network and data center diagrams.

This thread, like most Linux things, doesn’t work so well. No pics showing.

Can someone tell me what Win10 files I need to delete so I can let update run?
Thanks

That said, I was hoping to use it to sketch database ER diagrams, but was disappointed that it didn't have a stencil for that, at least not out of the box.

Looks interesting but 1) they apparently do not consider Debian to be a “popular operating system” or platform, and 2) the packages are only updated to 2013 so some of the dependencies might be outdated.

I’ve recently started working on a friends laptop with windows 10 and couldn’t find update at all! Does it give you the option NOT to auto update?

To: AppyPappy
No sir, I turned off auto update because I don’t want Win10. I would like to run the updates though.

So you have a lower version of Windows and you don’t want Windows 10. That would have been good info to know.
However, Windows 10 IS the update.
