Why has this become a “civil right”?

What is it with these women that insist on performing a bodily function where everyone else has to see it?

No sense of decorum anymore.

A simple cloth diaper or shawl draped over her would preserve the modesty of other people even if she has none herself

The judge issued an order. Is there a problem?

I breastfed whenever I needed to with a towel over my shoulder.

Women who do this are emotionally immature and that’s coupled with anger. So baring their breasts is a form of childish throwing a fit and like a child they have no regard for others around them. I feel sorry for their children.

Rhodus's mother has custody of her older son and Knight ultimately issued six-month protective order that bars Rhodus from seeing him.

She's got more problems than this judge.

She doesn’t have a brain, right? Women who do this are not concerned about their babies; they are exhibitionists.

From reading the comments here I think everyone is missing her intentions with her actions. She is involved in a custody case where she apparently is a bad mom and stands to lose custody. So rather than lose on the merits of the case, she turns the courtroom into a circus and trying to win by having the actions of the judge declared unreasonable.

Attention addict. An 8-month-old is thoroughly predictable in his feeding schedule, so it’s highly unlikely that he had to nurse right then. And he will be fine with the covering up if he has been used to it from the beginning.

Also, the headline is misleading.

The child should have been fed prior to going into the court room. I’ve never seen a court room that allowed food and eating of anything within it’s walls. Outside in the halls eating is usually alright but, not within the court room itself.

It would be totally inappropriate to bottle feed a baby in a courtroom let alone from the witness stand.

Don’t know who is contesting custody of her children but even taking her baby to court shows a total lack of judgment on her part at a time when she does NOT want her judgment questioned.

For something this important, she couldn’t find a sitter?
