New York values?

Anyone with any conservative leaning understood this. Unfortunately, it has been twisted--as all things are in elections--into something it isn't. Do you share NY values? Cruz has explained before that it is NY "values" that he wants to save NYers from... tax and spend, over regulation, nanny state, etc.

Cruz has not subverted our Constitution. In fact, he has done more than anyone you could probably name to preserve it and bolster it. The five victories at the Supreme Court exemplify that and his advocacy on several other major cases also underscore the substance of that point.

He claims he is a 'natural born' US citizen. He will NEVER EVER be a 'natural born' US citizen, as required by our Constitution... That is subversion in the highest order.

I know what you mean, but it truly does go both ways. As far as hatred for a candidate, perhaps we notice the vile posts against our own candidate more so than the other guy. Lots of for instances, but I won’t go there.

Personally, I’ve barely posted since a Trump supporter tried to bait me into an argument a few months ago. When I didn’t change my mind about Cruz, and buy into his ploy, he told me I’m going to hell for voting Cruz in the primary.

I’ll vote Trump in the general if need be.

You need to keep in mind that, while this forum is populated by a great many thinking conservatives, there are also those who are emotional conservatives, who invest a great deal of their emotional energy in their candidate.

There are also people who participate in this forum who are either paid or unpaid shills, agents provocateur, and trolls who enjoy stirring the chamber pot.

In addition to this, there are also those who are paid and/or unpaid (most likely paid) who participate in this forum to stir said pot and promote/provoke as much negativity as possible. These are the people who want to see FR and any other outlets for conservative opinion and information discredited and destroyed.

Put these all in one place, in an unusually contentious primary season, heat, stir (ahem) and you get the results you see here.

Hopefully, people will come to their senses after the convention.

In the meantime, be careful what you write. Big Mother is reading your posts.

;)

Better someone who bought off politicians and worked with the mob. But these things prove he’s a good businessman right? If making money is so important maybe he’ll be like clintons and pelosi...and protected because he’s above the law.

Yes, he does have the rubes.

There are those who see anyone with a Bible in one hand, the flag in the other, and the Constitution stuck between their teeth, and just vote for it because it is waving at them.

Of course, none of these were used as his paraphernalia, or found anywhere near him until he saw the TEA Party go by, in TEXAS. Looking back, no one who knew him thought him even particularly “religious”, until..... he rode the Bush campaign and plotted his future. First, to the Senate and then to the presidency immediately.

He is a climber who does pony tricks for power, depending on his audience and region. Period. He drops one thing and picks up another. Mostly, he can not win with the people, so he cheats with stacked delegates.

TRUMP has one message from last June. Make America Great Again, one way or the other. Mexico will pay for the WALL.
Stop the “refugee” infiltration. Oppose TPP. End IRAN. Our leaders are “stupid”, and work against our best interests.

It’s what the liberal media would do with the comment. Such phony indignation (and to think, Trump followers have accused Cruzers of being pearl-clutchers!)

start with Canada take a tour through Iowa take a quick detour to Utah then head out to Colorado if you can’t see those there’s nothing to discuss

the man has been lie since the day he was born ....in Canada.... how can he be a constitutionalist that can’t even face some basic facts about the US Constitution?....

and once you can lie to yourself about one part of the Constitution is it so surprising that he has no principles about anything...

like he did in Colorado and the other states trying to snake delegates ...freeze out the voters

Cruz and his supporters seem to think that the presidency is his Birthright...and are completely signed on to “by any means necessary” now.... elections be damned..... that’s not a man of the Constitution

Your title is a disgrace.

I thought it was odd when I read it. But then it dawned on me. A similar quote to this one was said by a famous politician before:

‘We are the ones we have been waiting for.’ - Obama

Ah, it was at that very debate that Cruz exposed what a two face liar he literally is... I watched it and I know what Cruz said. He shot himself in the foot all by himself... not ready for prime time... Given when one takes a look at Texas values.... you see it was a Texas case that Cruz ignored the supremes used to make same sex marriage a 'right'.... and Cruz greased himself into New York City to collect the pay off from his gay rich buddies.

Cruz doesn’t understand the economy.

Clearly you haven't been listening to him.

He seems to me to be less conservative than Trump.

According to what measurement? The wall? Is that it?

He seems to be in bed with the GOPe.

Surely you know he is hated by the GOPe, right? Their interests have aligned only in beating Trump. You can be sure that he is not in bed with the GOPe.

His character needs serious work including honesty and integrity.

Example? If it's Iowa... save your breath. Been argued too many times and if you haven't learned by now, there's no point in rehashing.

He has very little management experience (13 gov’t lawyers)

True... However, he is running rings around DT in managing this election. He has a very strong ground game. He has shown he knows how to get things done... even when faced with strong opposition.

Cruz is an opportunist, not a conservative. He decided to play a conservative, because he figured that would get him elected president.

Many people are finally starting to see the truth, but some still refuse to see it.

Ben Carson should have filed charges against Ted Cruz’s campaign in Iowa; the tweets are clear.

Ted Cruz is a Bush bred GOPe insider.

Cruz is lucky the debates were over just as it dawned on people that he is no “outsider”.

LOL.

If he’s the nominee, the dems will do some serious judge/court shopping.

It's possible. I guarantee you that if DT is the nominee... his skeletons will be let loose from his closet as well. Which obstacle will be more insurmountable?

“If Cruz becomes the Republican nominee I will vote for him against Hillary. That being said I do not like the man.”

Me too. I was Cruz-only until I decided that Trump is the real deal. I didn’t dislike Cruz, I just preferred Trump.

But this primary has revealed aspects of Cruz’s personality and character that disappoint me and I can’t say that I like him or trust him at this point. But versus Hillary I’ll have to vote for him.

Wow! All the most compelling arguments have really excellent photoshop work and clever ad hominem labels, like yours.

A+++

Send it to your mom! She will be proud of you. Might put it up on the fridge and everything!
