I have listened to about a dozen of Trump’s discussions. He does not give speeches but is much more a stream of consciousness speaker. He has taken many positions, virtually all of them classic conservative. His discussion on taxes, the border, abortion, guns, education, economics, the Fed, foreign aid, the Muslim hoard, Israel, China, trade, free speech, and much more are well within line with most conservative thought. If he is good for 5% of everything he has discussed we will be light years ahead of today. Frankly I see no downside to a Trump presidency. Call me cozened.
You are braver than me, I couldn’t last through his speeches. The first Lyn’ Ted and I shut it down.
i hear him and i don’t believe a word he says. Not that i believe any of the others are more sincere, not at all. but again, it comes back to temperament. He’s thin skinned and a bully, and not someone i think who should be privy to the nuclear button. he’s given me zero reason to take anything he says on faith. he’s proven himself faithless in other endeavors.
