It is such a gimme. Women and girls are very vulnerable in the restroom. The walls are usually thick. They are in a compromised position. The transgendered have no proof that they are what they claim to be. No one is examining the transgendered for mental illness either. What is to stop packs of rapists from dressing like women and raping women and molesting little girls. It was such a gimme and Donald dropped the ball.
I have read and seen his interview and no where does he state he is OK, He states the bill and law should stay as it is.
Now do you also have a problem with cruz takin g money from his big donor who is a homosexual activist or is this your fake outrage showing?
Trump does not like any law and it would be better to leave things the way they are. Cross-dressers uses the women’s facilities already. If a cross-dresser goes into the women’s bathroom, he had better behave himself. No video cameras on his shoes or putting up hidden cameras, etc. Of course, if he touches a little girl, he will be toast.
If such a cross-dresser goes into a women’s dressing room or shower, that is a different matter. It should stay unlawful. Any time a male exposes his private parts to a woman it should be considered Exhibitionism, and should be unlawful. So, if` a cross-dresser wants to use a dressing room or a public shower, they should dress in unisex clothing that would not attract attention that they are a transvestite when they enter that public facility for men.
If these cross-dressers have had the complete sex change procedure, they could then be able to use the dressing rooms and showers for women, without being considered unlawful exhibitionist.
In my opinion, a person spending the huge cost for a sex change is making a huge mistake. They would be better undergoing psychiatric counseling for the mental illness—Autogynephilia—rather than undergoing the pain, costs and inconvenience.

How are you even going to tell the difference between a dude in a dress looking to perv on women, and a butch female or a gruff-looking lesbian that could look like this?

How about the parents that have made up their little boys to look like girls?
You even have cases of women at concert venues going to the men’s room because the line for the ladies room is insanely long. Do these people count too?
And let’s not forget the women from India with a beard they wear for religious reasons.
The problem is that people on the right, either through laziness or just going off half-assed, aren’t making any effort to create laws that address sexual assault or harassment in this manner, by these types, and levy harsh penalties. They are just screaming about how every example of these “trans” types is going to be a big burly dude, with a beard, in a dress, and how we are here to protect the women’s and little girls (never mind the little boys), leaving themselves wide open for the left to couch us as “transphobic” because the law technically will snare every example I gave above. Pure carelessness!
What do we think is going to happen when one of these actual trans people start documenting how they went to the restroom, no one noticed them, and nothing nefarious happened? Now we have a law designed to stop these people from using the other restroom, and people were too duped to even catch it.
What will happen when someone calls the cops on someone and they find out they made a mistake? That person will sue the hell out of everyone involved and the whole law might easily get struck down.
There are so many holes in this effort that it is doomed to fail from the word go, but no one wants to acknowledge it because I guess it’s more fun to be a martyr than actually save “women and little girls” from actual rapists.

Just another thought, I suppose Jenner would be far more acceptable than a pedophile with a cellphone camera disguised as a “harmless” transgender taking pictures of little girls under the stall and then selling them on the Internet as child pornography.

While I believe Cruz would make an excellent terrorism fireman, he is in no way an immigration or trade fireman. Those fires will burn as just as brightly as they are now if Cruz becomes president.
I sympathize (and agree) with those concerned about social issues, but these were long time developing problems, the solutions will take a long time to develop also. The next president (Cruz or otherwise) will have minimal (if any) impact in turning them back.
Our national house is on fire; immigration, trade, and terrorism are the fires burning it. Trump is far from the ideal candidate, but he is the ONLY fireman in the race.

Most of you guys get all worked up about some of the things that Trump has to say that sound like he’s a liberal while Trump is counting all the liberals and moderates he’s drawing over to his side BECAUSE he’s saying them.
