Eating lots of nuts can also inspire the Leftist Fecal Artists like Mapplethorpe and the like. Something else to look forward to from the NEA.

In real sciences, of which nutrition isn’t, these kinds of observational studies are considered hypothesis-generating exercises. They do not, and cannot, provide anything like proof.

The article talks about peanuts as nuts. They are actually legumes.

Peanut butter is one of the most widely eaten foods by children and many senior adults. It’s cheaper than all these new ‘nut butters’ too. High in nutrition and easy to eat.

Although the researchers included many types of nuts in their analysis, peanuts were the most widely consumed nuts among people in the study.Peanuts aren't nuts. They are legumes. Silly scientists.

Edgar Cayce and eating 2-3 almonds a day to avoid cancers The most often quoted readings say:
"Those who would eat two to three almonds each day need never fear cancer." (1158-31) "If an almond is taken each day, and kept up, you'll never have accumulations of tumors or such conditions through the body." (3180-3)
Almonds were recommended in cases of Breast Cancer in the following readings, as part of a diet emphasizing leafy vegetables and low (or no) meat and fat:
"Eat an almond each day - one almond - the body will have no more trouble or recurrence of this nature through the system." (3515-1)
"Almonds, Brazilian nuts, cashew nuts, and the like, are well. Almonds, especially." (4438-1)
