FR Management should ban posts from Breitbart

Posted on 04/24/2016 2:58:24 AM PDT by markomalley

I've started to see Breitbart host more and more pro-Cruz propaganda items on their sites. If they're going to continue posting anti-Trump lies and deception, they should go the way of "Right Scoop" and not be allowed to be posted on this site.

For example, this morning I come across a scurrilous piece by Dr Susan Berry, Donald Trump Foundation Donated $20K to Public School LGBT Activist Group GLSEN. Not saying that it's true, but even if it was, since when would Donald Trump have day-to-day management control on each and every donation made. Besides, it was 4 years ago. What relevance is this to today?

This just shows that it may not be a reliable news source any longer. I think articles from this source should be banned from FR.

Really?

ban a site you disagree with?

Could you quite possibly be any more whiny?

Here's a thought, what you post your address so people can send you $20 and you can go out and buy some big boy skivvies.

I’m actually surprised by this, as I thought Breitbart was for Trump.

Just stop already

First rule of holes and all

You have made Trump supporters seem like they want to be low information voters.

You are not helping the cause

Gestapo tactic at best

What are you afraid of? This is usually suggested by people who are losing an argument

Campaign Mode??? Really???

Lil ole stupid me thought the "campaign mode" started after the convention had actually voted and chosen a candidate.

"This is no different than a company's public relations office wanting to tightly control the message coming out of the company."

Hey... just like ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX.  Can't get any better than that, can we???? /s

I have seen it all before. It's going to get very quiet around here very soon. Really, what's so hard about understanding the site owners wishes. Trotting out the Constitution, Dante's inferno, The Critique of Pure Reason, Mad magazine, Lady's Home Journal or anything else to complain about it, is just causing trouble for trouble's sake.

Ask nicely in private to have your account removed and go away without being a hooligan. You might then have the time to create your own fiefdom where life imitates the National Review.

Get with us,

If by "us" you mean people who want to silence dissent and ban articles and Zot everyone who doesn't march in lockstep with the Annointed One - even when he advocates things that violate my own values and principles, then I say no, I can't "get with us".

I am a constitutional conservatives who believes that the biggest problem in America is not the GOP or the establishment or any political party. The biggest problem in America is that America is unhinged from its moorings. We have left our first love so to speak and we are drifting into a malestrom of moral and spiritual decline.

We now have gay marriage foisted on us. Our children are no longer protected from perverts in the bathrooms and lockers, we have aborted an entire generation of our posterity and people here are advocating for a safe space for a guy we should not be trusting any further than we can throw him, especially given his past record.

By advocating that we refrain from criticizing a candidate and banning articles and Freepers who express concern or that seek to hold a candidate's feet to the fire, we become the very enemy we seek to defeat.

Building a wall is not going to save America. Only a godly people dedicated to restoring our traditional values and turning the nation back to God is going to accomplish that. If we surrender those principles and values in order to win an election, then we deserve to lose.

so if I have to walk in lockstep with people who want to silence dissent, then no, I won't.

No p-Marlow, I meant the Patriots who can see the Forest not just the trees. Trump is the only one who will be in a position to do anything substantive with the Macro problems of the country. Mainly breaking up the control of our country by mostly foreign controlled special interests. Unlike the DC insider lawyer who uses research data to say what you want to hear, while selling you out to the Globalist behind your back, Trump is a free agent, Not owned by the special interests. Simple fact, Cruz cannot fix anything he has promised since hes beholden to the same people who own Hillary and the Rinos.

Eventually you will see what others have seen, You are neither a liberal nor are you dumb, But you are blind and emotionally invested in a fraud because of a ton of bad information by very smart but unethical people.

Trump has warts, but hes our best chance from having a civil war and/or having our country destroyed by the Globalist special interests - who own Cruz.

Breitbart fired both offenders

Incorrect. Both resigned.

Also, Shapiro was doing segments blasting Trump long before the Michelle Fields incident that were way over top. It was very unprofessional journalism and he should have been fired for that.

IOW eventually someone will plant a pod next to me while I am sleeping.

What is your opinion regarding the silencing of all dissent or criticism of the Annointed One. Are you in lockstep with markomalley?

Trump’s voters will not care about whatever sewage Hillary! flings at him, he will have an arsenal to use against her, and he will.

From Conservative Treehouse

In every poll Donald Trump wins the “he-is-who-he-is” factor.

As Lee Atwater would tell you, that’s critically important. Once the broader electorate sense “who you are”, and become comfortable with that sensibility, there is a remarkable shift toward granting the benefit of doubt in policy and change.

[The most recent example of such a benefactor was Bill Clinton in his prime.]

However, in the same polls, Ted Cruz is viewed as the candidate willing to tell you everything you want to hear so long as it benefits him. That’s the “authenticity” issue. Just as there is a long-term benefit in positive authenticity polling, there is a long-term detriment in negative authenticity polling.

Opinions of “authenticity” are almost impossible to change once they embed. The word ‘almost’ is an understatement, because no politician in modern times has ever been able to reverse the authenticity component.

Bernie Sanders also benefits from positive opinions in authenticity, and Hillary Clinton is viewed similarly to Cruz as inherently inauthentic as a matter of mere disposition.

P-Marlow, You can try to mock away the Facts Cruz is beholden to special interests opposed your goals, and his record is full of complying with/supporting the anti-America agenda of those special interests.

Nor can you mock away the Facts Trump loves America and is NOT beholden to the Globalist special interests that own, fund and are helping Cruz now.

"Building a wall is not going to save America."

Maybe not but it is the only thing that might. Immigrants from the third world, legal and illegal, vote overwhelming for democrats. Give the Marxist left millions of new Rat voters and you can kiss every issue you care about and our constitution good-bye.

It dumbfounds me that some people that claim to be a constitutional conservative do not support the only candidate that might be able to save the nation and it's constitution from the migrant invasion that is occurring right now. Why yall want to rearrange the deck chairs and ignore the water pouring in is beyond me. STOP THE LEAK AND START BAILING. If you are a patriotic American any else in insanity.

Trump has promised many things, of them 3 stand out for healing our country with God. 1. Appointing conservative Judges; 2. Putting education under local control; 3; Protecting Religious liberty for Christians.

Students of political science know that the Frankfurt School laid out the culture war methods being used still today by the left. Control one of both parties, control the courts, control education putting the party line in the text books, and banning Christianity from the public sphere.

Trump is already working on taking back one of the parties, and has promised to do the others... Coincidence? I think not. Hence the desperation of the left including the Establishment and their lawyers.

Are you or are you not in favor of silencing all dissent in regard to the Annointed One as suggested by markomalley.

Are you willing to hold Donald Trump’s feet to the fire when he goes off and suggests that people ought to be able to use whatever bathroom they feel suits their sexual nature?

Are you willing to call him out on that? Or should people who criticize him for that be banned?

I am not shilling for Ted Cruz. I am responding to the idea that any criticism of Donald Trump is somehow going to help the Hildebeast be elected in November.

If DT’s election for presidency can only be accomplished by creating safe spaces for him and his little sensitive snowflakes on Free Republic, then he doesn’t have a prayer.

And if he doesn’t have a prayer, then maybe we should be looking elsewhere.

Just sayin.
