“The reason they didnt work so well in Oregon is simple: not enough explosives.”
Per Wikipedia, they used half a ton of explosives!

The reason explosives don't work to solve any problem is not enough explosives.

Dynamite always makes for a good YouTube video at least. People running and screaming, pieces of whale meat falling on cars. Definitely worth doing.

What is the problem? Isn’t this a natural phenomenon that has happened countless times throughout history? Let everything be natural and organic-the mantra of the left lib environmental wackos. The crabs, bacteria, sea gulls will clean it up in a few months/years Green baby green.

“Supersonic whale chunks” sounds like a good name for a rock band.

This was done in 1979. Now they’d have to do a pre-blast survey, public notice, set up seismic gear, get permits...too much red tape.

A decision isn't expected for a day or two.Need to let a committee decide. As if it's not going to stink more in a few days. What's to decide? Just chop it up and haul it out to sea.

San Onofre is right next to Camp Pendleton. I’ll bet there are some combat engineers that want a crack at that.

Explosives definitely need to be involved. The reason they didnt work so well in Oregon is simple: not enough explosives. If you weren't a combat engineer, you should have been. The 'SGT Carter' character was pretty accurate, from my recollection. LOL!
