Today in Indiana Carly Fiorina represented the visible metaphor for the Ted Cruz campaign when she literally fell off the stage – and Ted Cruz ignored her distress.

I watched it 6 times. I have never seen such a heartless bastard. I still don’t know if she is ok.

He'd have to have glaucoma or some peripheral vision problem to not notice that Carly vanished right in front of him in less than a second.

Reminds me of that inappropriate full-frontal hug Ted gave Carly the other day. It showed no respect for the fact that she is, for want of a better word, a senior citizen and quite a bit older than Ted, something which traditionally requires of a gentleman deference and respect.

Any news reports on her condition? Because that's how older people break a hip, and she sure doesn't have any padding to speak of down there. A broken hip can be debilitating, and worse, for the elderly, as it can contribute to other existing chronic conditions. (OK, I am one of that group, so maybe I'm extra aware of it.:-))

She was NOT "right next to him" when she fell. His two girls and wife were between them and it's plain as day to any honest person that he didn't see her fall.

Good grief! How petty and sickening can some of you people get. You should be ashamed of yourselves but of course you aren't.

Don't bother with some nasty reply. I won't be here to read it. FR used to be a nice place but not anymore. And it has nothing to do with who you are or aren't supporting.

While I can not be certain, from the video it looked to me like Carly either was pushed or was tripped. It is impossible to tell who did it. There were several people behind her.

Corey Lewandowski. Fortunately, Michelle Fields was taking a nap against the stage right underneath Carly - but now she's filing another assault charge against Corey.

Doesn’t matter if he saw her fall or not. These days, perception is everything. Most will only give this one glance, think it’s as bad as it looks, and then move on.

My best guess is a broken heel, my second best guess is that the Cruz girls bumped into her. After she is down you can see Ted little girls occupying the same spot Carly fell from.

Odd. Fox News didn’t mention this at all, and they usually try so hard to be “fair and balanced.”

Ugh. It’s hard to see how he wouldn’t have known her missing from the stage.

It’s kind of like the news stories where they show pedestrians simply passing by or walking over a clearly injured or deceased person. Kinda makes me wish this had happened BEFORE I went into the voting booth in Maryland.

He didn’t realize she fell, but later it look like he did glance in her direction. So she should be on the ground when he saw her but still did nothing

I agree with you all. Ted is several steps away and upwards from Carly and surrounded by people. There were dozens of people around that were much closer to Carly.

That is what bothers me. NONE OF THEM bothered to even reach out a hand (except for Heidi Cruz) to even help Carly.

It’s just a metaphor. I hope she didn’t hurt herself. People been seriously damaged falling off stage.
