Why has FR turned on Cruz?

I certainly haven't - he's far more conservative than Romney or McCain ever were. I expect to happily vote for Trump in the general election, because he has won most of the votes in the primaries so far, but I have no problem with Cruz. Healthy competition is good in the primaries, but it mustn't turn into cannibalism.
