The 757 does that. Can’t remember if the 767 does that as well.

Many Asian carriers will have two separate jet bridges, first class and business enter through the front door (1L) and everyone else goes through the second door. (2L)

If you fly BA in their coach plus class, you get pretty much the equivalent of domestic US first class.

I've never had a case of "air rage," thanks to five hour flights to Crete on a C-130. Damn, my ears would ring for two hours after we landed.

Serving in the military teaches you how to put up with a lot of "stuff." lol

If you’re flying BA, check out their coach plus class of service. It costs a little less than twice the price of a steerage seat and you get a very nice seat that’s pretty much the equivalent of a domestic US first class seat. I know; I’ve flown in both classes.

Maybe we should go back to the days when people wore their Sunday Finest clothes when they flew, and then they might behave better.

I am a “big guy”, but not so big I can not keep all my person in my seat, but I digress. The difference for me personally between coach and business on long international flights is beyond dramatic. In coach, you can’t wait for the flight to end and suffer like a dog whole way. In business class, you never want it to end, blissful comfort and space, no waiting for the clean bathrooms, and more than enough drinks and food basically anytime you want. However within the USA, unless to Hawaii, I could care less, there is hardly any difference.

First Class, Second Class Business and Steerage.

My EX B-I-L used to work for a Multi Millionaire. You all would know the Family name.

Do you know why he was a Multi Millionaire? It’s because he didn’t waste his Money.

He never flew First Class. He always got a Bulkhead Seat in Coach. He didn’t understand wasting so much money sitting on an Airplane for five hours.

He was this way with everything. His Older Brother bought him a Porsche as a Birthday Present when he turned 50. It embarrassed him. He drove a Honda Accord but he kept the Porsche because he didn’t want to offend his Brother.

As for me, I’ve flown First Class twice in my Life. Both times because my Frequent Flier Miles covered it. One of those times they wanted the same amount of Miles for either Coach or First Class. Must have been a glitch. #;^)

I noticed “first class’ is written in Cursive.

First Class is obviously Racist.

Jet Blue and Southwest don’t have First Class Seating.
They are the “inclusive” Airlines, much like Cattle Cars are inclusive.

But interestingly, if you fly inter-European business class, the seats are much worse the US domestic first class.

Essentially you get the same seats as the back of the plane, with the middle seat blocked off.

You would be stunned at how much people who are boarding for coach will do. I have had my drink spilled. As you say, hit with a shoulder bag. Mostly this occurs because the line gets backed up in the isle and is not intentional. It doesn’t make it any less irritating.

I fly coach mostly, and first class when I have accumulated enough points to spend on the upgrade.

But this article, was intended to spur a discussion about eliminating first class, rather then make first class a better experience.

Please don’t think I would actually do such a thing. Because I wouldn’t.

I’m sure your mind will process that in the 1/100th of a second longer that you live.

You wanna fly first class, pay up, Marxist a-hole.

If you don’t like it, move to Venezuela.

but it is contrary to increasing size of passengers

Irrelevant factor. Revenue is the primary factor. (I've been in the airline business for 20 years).

Revenue is the primary factor.

That may be true. It seems like customer comfort and satisfaction are not factors anymore.
