If this had come up in a discussion at a bar, with these people, I—a peaceable man—would have punched someone’s lights out. Hijacking health services for political advantage isn’t casual, it’s not funny. It’s screwed up many people’s lives and stressed them economically. It’s not a joke!

Nothing funny about those cancellations—at least not for my daughter who was in her final year’s battle with cancer!!—expecially when they came at the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season and required such patients to spend hours on phone trying to find coverage instead of being able to share themselves and their love with family, friends and others in their communities.
