Making the tax code more complex and cranking up the taxes will only drive those that can, to take advantage of any means to hang onto their money and raise the rates on the folks in the middle.
Just limit the tax to people and companies to 10-percent, period. Tell the spending side of the government that there’s a limit, and you need to stay under whatever that number amounts to.
Limit biz to 3%, implement a sales tax of 3%; ditch any/all exemptions/cut-outs.

Enough w/ enslaving one facet for the benefit of another. No person/entity is ‘more deserving’ of NOT paying taxes as another. Charity doesn’t come from the end of a gun and govt SUCKS at picking winners (nor do they have the authority).
