Cleese is starting to look like Old Hilter.
I had tried to read Screwtape before finding the Cleese rendition, but didn’t get all the way through.
For me, reading the style of Lewis was a bit difficult even though his text was only a generation removed. I was able to muddle through, but it wasn’t as powerful and meaningful as it could have been to my soul.
Cleese made it much easier to read...I found myself “reading along” as well as listening for pleasure.
