It’s a ‘bit’ from a period in time when people were claiming all sorts of problems due to their working for/at the “Post Office” (aka ‘going postal’) and/or receiving mail/junk mail, ANY mail.
Then, it was an actual gun phobia similar to the current toilet cause de ‘celeb.
The gun phobia continues, as you probably well know.
I don't believe that God has a Love that leaves us when we go from this existence.(if that was your question)
