Mine is Jeff Sessions. We have two senators. Jeff and the other puke that I never vote for. Even my district congressman is a bum. Wins every time by big numbers. But, basically worthless.

Problem with all that you suggest is that THEY, those in Congress would have to write these laws and put them into effect. They are NOT about to do away with their own jobs.

Obviously. The only potential for doing it would ultimately be an Article V convention . . . and even then, it might have to have a grandfather clause which would mean that I wouldn’t see it take effect in my lifetime. OTOH, there is the Winston Churchill approach - told by his gardener that a particular effect in his garden could not be attained because it would take 100 years to reach maturity, Churchill replied, “In that case, there is not a moment to lose!"

This country has an unhealthy addiction to all things government services and commander in chief not ruling over his own government but over the people handed over as slave bribes to the government worker’s feeling of superiority.
