Here we have educated people simply trying to live their lives and facing punishment. Either they will leave the country, and by their presence liberalize a Moslem community elsewhere, or they will stay behind and promote liberalization of Islam in Saudi Arabia. I remain firm in my belief that Islam is having a cataclysmic run-in with modernity that only the hicks and the less educated want because Islam will lose and be destroyed or it will modernize. Just like Christianity.
