BOSTON —President John F. Kennedy’s love letter to an alleged secret mistress will be put up for auction by RR Auction.

The four-page love letter was written to Mary Pinchot Meyer, a Kennedy family friend and wife of CIA agent Cord Meyer, in October 1963, a month before the president’s assassination.

This sounds like a Clinton scandal:

Kennedy and Meyer first met when Kennedy was in high school and were reacquainted in 1954 when she befriended Jackie Kennedy as well. Meyer is said to have been in the White House frequently when John Kennedy was president and when Jackie Kennedy was out of town.

Meyer was mysteriously killed in October of 1964.
