The European Commission has formally notified Poland that it is violating accepted norms with changes it has made to its highest court. If Poland fails to fall into line, it may face a variety of sanctions from Brussels.
The following appearance on a German television program by a Polish journalist named Aleksandra Rybińska was first aired last February. It provides some additional background on the current confrontation between Poland and the Imperial Center.

Time for Polexit!
Poland to EU: FU
FUEU!
Why doesn't the rest of the E.U. just stomp the little shitkickers into the ground?
I'd watch a pay-per-view of that!
Well that’s what I said in #2.
It’s German money.

Stunning picture of Warsaw. Russians, however, were at least half responsible, both in September of 1940 and throughout late ‘44 and early ‘45. I guess their continued occupation until the ‘90’s could be seen as the Russian contribution to ‘reparations,’ though. LOL

Russia didn’t occupy Warsaw in ‘39, and yes they did stand idly by while the Germans leveled what remained. But it was all the handiwork of the Nazis.
Every incarnation the Socialists have a Poland fixation.
You are right - with no German invasion from the west, the Russians would not have invaded from the east. The Russians did, however, help the Germans’ invasion more than they are credited for. The Polish disarray was clearing and resistance stiffening, and though the end would have been the same, Russian help save the Germans a lot of effort, material and TIME in 1939. (not ‘40 . . . it was late last night when I posted LOL)

No question. Germany most likely wouldn’t have invaded Poland without the Non-Aggression Pact. And the Russians knew what they were getting for it.
