After co-authoring Pursuing Liberty in 2009 (first-person stories of people who legally fled tyrannies for the US, including on-the-ground reports of how tyrannies start) and updating it again for the 2012 election, we spoke to many groups (including Tea Party group, students, and Patriot Academy in Austin) about what these people had to say and the lessons their experiences had for us.
A number of private schools and homeschools/homeschool associations picked it up for their history courses.
We must have done close to 80 radio interviews, maybe more - I lost count - including a number of national shows (plus NewsMax TV), when we rolled the book out, telling people about what oppression looked like, and how it related to what Obama was going to do - and did.
That’s one thing. Gotta run.
There was a hyena pack that used to run here. One of their goals was to keep any and all criticism of Bush and his amnesty from being discussed. They managed to get a good number of people banned. One of their games was to make false charges of racism, and they tried and often were successful in enforcing politically correct censorship. At least one of them is back and trying that same game with an Aryan Nations smear against a very active freeper.
We can always hope and do all we can to help the competition get rid of the Ryan’s, Kasich’s, etc.
OK, thank you for the explanation. I had absolutely nothing to do with that. At the time, I was busy raising my son (school, sports, etc.), my (now-late) mother had just moved out here, and I was working hard to keep my business afloat.
I really didn’t have time, or the inclination, for anything of that nature.
I’ve been involved in online communities since the CompuServe days of the 80s, when 2400 baud was an improvement, and every forum I was involved with, I had met many people IRL that I had met online. I do not “talk” to anyone online in a way that I wouldn’t do IRL.
I’ve met many Freepers in person and would never troll someone. I’ve made no secret of my identity for those who wanted to spend two seconds looking me up. I care about my reputation and much more importantly, I care about living my life in a way that I can answer to my Lord when it’s time, and I would never do that.
I will stand up for my beliefs and for myself, but I promise you and anyone else reading this thread, that I would never violate my personal principles for an online power play.

A lot of time and opportunity were lost thanks to Bush and his No Borders/Amnesty garbage.
I’m just astounded that things have turned around. I figured that the Treason Lobby had won the fight and would always remain in power in the GOP.
I’m still not convinced that anything will be done. Nothing short of massive deportation will save California, and if California isn’t restored as an American state versus a 3rd World colony the rest of the USA will soon follow.
