Kasich: It's 'hard to say' if I'll support Trump (Then he support Hillary Clinton)

It's "hard to say" whether John Kasich will support Donald Trump, the Ohio governor said Thursday, adding that it's "absolutely" possible he could go to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next month and not endorse the billionaire businessman. "Hard to say," the swing-state governor said of whether he will back the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. "If you look at Twitter, they have this thing called 'trending.' It's trending poorly."................

Kasich said he knows what the U.S. needs in a leader -- or rather, what it doesn't, condemning the type of candidate who is divisive and insults people. "I just wish that there was a change, but it doesn't look like there's been any chance," he said. "It looks like it's gotten worse." The Ohio governor also laughed when asked about there being any chance that he would be Trump's running mate. "There was never a chance of that," he chuckled. "Never. Not even a consideration. We're too different."

Changing the venue at this late date is not only impossible, it’s a dumb idea.

WTH ever happened to that stupid pledge everyone took last summer to support the nominee unreservedly? (Yes, I know the whole thing was a trap for Trump, but it sprung shut on the tricksters. Honor your word you backstabbing weasels!)

The most important thing to the GOPe is preventing the citizen from stopping the Cheap Labor Express.

The people pipeline is paramount.

Both parties decided years ago that the citizens would not be allowed to keep their country.

Right. Kasich and the GOPe are horrified by Trump's "insensitivity" but these feckless hypocrites don't mind continuing to fund and support racist Zero's wrecking ball as together they smash America to bits.

Where are Kasich's and the GOPe's criticism of The Hag's treason to America and violation of security protocols? Her Xlinton Foundation scam?

Nowhere.

They would prefer that psycho woman over someone who loves America.

The GOP is no friend of Americans.

Not at all.

Kasich is a despical, deceitful career pol. We need to understand that the entire GOP apparatus will be arrayed against Trump. it is up to us to get the job done. The calvary is not coming. Only a few stalwarts like Jeff Sessions and Duncan Hunter and a few others truly support the candidate. The others will temporarily pretend to do so but ONLY when it serves their immediate and momentary interest to do so. With “friends” like Ryan, McConnell, Trump may find it more profitable to disavow the whole friggin’ lot and run against them all. The press and congress have approval ratings FAR worse then Trump on his worst day.

Re: convention—Kasich controls the national guard there, right? Not a comforting thought.

One could make the case that the GOP hasn't been a friend of America since The Gipper left office.

It's never been more obvious than during the past 8 years or so. Or recently. HOW is it possible that Trump scares the GOP more than Psycho Hag? Or the current Mr. and Mrs. Nero who have held America in contempt and made no secret they hate it?

These so-called "representatives" of We The People are no such thing.

“I thought these clowns all pledged to support the repub nominee? I thought that happened at one of the debates. Was their an exception if the nominee happened to be Trump? I didn’t hear that part.
Hypocrites. They don’t even know how stupid they look.”

It’s only that they are hypocrites, but also what they do to their own credibility.....which in effect they have none.

Moving a physical venue like this would be a phenomenal challenge, even if possible. You’re talking cancelling thousands of hotels, which had already provided special block group rates; all the logistics of badges, clearance, etc. It would be a nightmare. Yes, could be done, but it would cost a ton of money.

I like the virtual concept a lot because a) that would be TOTALLY unique, and the networks would HAVE to cover the stuff; b) it would be outside the control of the traditionalists, who wouldn’t know how to handle it; and c) as you point out, it would be harder to disrupt.

Agreed that changing the venue is close to impossible. BUT be prepared for Kasich not lifting a finger to put down home grown terrorists who will attack the Trump Republican Convention. And be prepared for the GOPeers to yell on top of their voices that it is all of Trump's fault.

Thank you for calling the idea dumb, because you are just so much smarter than me even though you have neither the power nor solution to force the GOPeers to support the citizens of this country. Goodbye!

Than maybe these hotels should call Kasich and demand that he strongly support Trump? Leverage should never be wasted.

Kasich will pull a Rahm Emanuel and Sam Liccardo on the Trump Convention. Hopefully I am wrong. Do you think I am wrong? I really want to be wrong.

What! Mar-A-Lago is not big enough? ; )

How large of a venue do you need? Are you from Palm Beach?
