DeBlASSio strikes again. He is so enamoured of his Commie agenda that he longs to be the Great Leveler. There can be no excellence anywhere in NYC; he must stamp out the few remaining pockets of excellence in existence. There are yet a few schools where students are very serious about their work, where they do not answer a teacher back, "Suck my d___", where they do not cut classes and roam the halls in herds. These elite schools protect themselves from the disruptors by demanding that their applicants take a difficult entry exam, to weed out those who have been spending more time playing with their cell phone than writing assigned essays. Now this peerless moron DeBlASSio wants to destroy these last few sanctuaries for those who truly want to learn and contaminate the halls of those schools with his beloved ghetto thugs, all in the interest of "equality". No, moron, sometimes you gotta cultivate and nurture excellence, even if it's DIFFERENT from the masses of asses in your typical NYC schools.

Perhaps “elite” schools are “elite” for a reason.
Mix up the student population based on some liberal pipe dream, and guess what?
That’s right. The schools cease being “elite.”

"bring diversity" = AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

Hahahahaha. Too bad for those “elites” who thought they would escape the Ratborg because they donated to Ratborg and voted for the Ratborg.
They intend to absorb everyone.

Instead of diversity, they should get all those illegals in the room and teach them about assimilation.. The AMERICAN way of living here in AMERICA! Become American or don’t come here!

Look at happen to City University of NY. It was a poor man’s Ivy League and also for Jews who were blackballed form enrolling at Ivy League schools. Now after open admissions it is an academic dump.

As long as they are talking about places like Exeter, Phillips, Trinity, Choate, etc
Then I’m all for it.
But those are the last places you’ll find these kids at as well as common core.
At these schools it’s mandatory enrollment in 2 sports and school is 6 days a week.

But the Lefties get to pretend that they’ve done something positive.

Why did I think from the headline that DOE was Department of Energy?

Schools are elite when they have elite students (most with elite parents). It doesn’t work the other way around. The best schools and teachers will not help kids who don’t want to succeed.
If he really want to fix things, he needs to start with parents of pre-schoolers. Get them to care and in 10-15 years we’ll have a diverse group of elite students.
To: EinNYC
The solution is for people to selection “black” or better ‘black and Hispanic’ on forms.
Make them kick you out because you are not black enough.
