If the government has proven anything, it’s inefficiency and waste. Prime examples are the VA, IRS, TSA, EPA, USPS, etc. And now the DOJ and FBI can add corruption to the list.

In today's America when there is any type of big event, watch the local politicians, police chief, cops, firemen, mayor, and assorted officials all line up for the cameras and do nothing but back slap each other.
In every single news conference they all read the same script and do nothing but praise each other for the cameras. Even if it was they who totally f'd up or dropped the ball. Ya see these same news conferences every day in America.

First responders are wonderful.
It seems we need better first preventers, however.
It appears “if you see something, say something,” results in yet another blown chance to prevent, lest they wander into PC and evidential problems.
Change the effing laws, then. Save lives.
