Interesting how a lot of these accused officers opt for bench trials.
When a citizen dies of unnatural causes in police custody, someone needs to be held responsible for that.

Uh oh. Racist Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams handed down his decision on warm summer Thursday morning. A decision that is going to upset the black folks. I fully expect a full scale riot tonight and throughout the weekend.
I know Williams is black, but do you seriously think that will stop the race hustlers from accusing him? Hell no! They will just say, “He wants to be white”.

YES. In all caps and emphasized any way you like. When government takes custody of a citizen it is from that point forward until the citizen is no longer in custody that the well-being of the individual is the responsibility of the government.
Whether it was negligence or on purpose, the government is responsible for that man’s life the moment it takes custody of him.

From Baltimore Sun coverage, it looked like about 12 professional agitators had turned out to protest. Many had banners and signs indicating they were communists seeking a general revolution. The 50 media folks will no doubt try to fan this spark into flames.
The Judge, to his credit, has made it clear that the State threw out inflammatory theories, but did nothing to support them with that thing called “evidence”. Of course, there was no evidence to present. Bench trials took away the State’s weapon: ignorant lynch mob jurors.
The Sheriff’s Dept recently stated that its “independent investigation” was merely a rubber stamp of what Mosby’s office told them had happened. The gambit with conducting their own investigation exposes Mosby, Schatzkow, and Bledsoe to personal liability, but the City is also on the hook for their misconduct. Baltimore needs to eject these scoundrels now.
There was no murder. Just made up charges.
In the entire article, Ther is not one mention of the blatantly prejudiced DA, Mosby, who is the poster child for ineptness and the inability to do the job. The media is embarrassed and want her to disappear.
I have read that they did rebuild, but they no longer carry any controlled drugs. So Granny Granniqua has to go to another neighborhood for her back pain meds
The only thing she might convict him of, is a minor traffic violation. She already charged him with everything in the crook book.

It is very difficult to believe that the intention is an innocent concern for individual rights. The innocent spectator, concerned with individual rights, will at least sometimes weigh in on the side of the Police. That is not the pattern we have seen for 7 years & five months.
