(a)He and his family wanted attention and money.

(b)He COULD be a terrorist. But my default is option A.

What’s this? once you’re in the news, every movement of yours is reported by the press? Let him go. Leave him in qatar and keep him out of the USA. He became famous and got special privileges because he’s muzzy. We do not need to hear any more about him.
