“Seriously, over the past few days there have been a number of new cases of Cruz zombies emerging. What is going on?!?!”

Trump made the mistake of offering a speaking slot to Oily Felito of the sealed records and Mormon prophecies. Instead of grinding the snake’s head into paste, Trump made a gesture towards picking the snake up. That is why the Cruzlim Blubberhood is ululating at the gates. Again.

And Schlafly knows whereof she speaks, having fended of a Cruzlim putsch to displace her from her own organization.

Oh with all due respect, I stand behind every word of it.

If you are a marine, you are part of a group, a family, and you take an oath:

_____________ do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

You are a citizen of the US, I don’t know what you mean that you are sovereign...

Don’t throw stones at me Bob You don’t know me, and I can assure you that your assumptions are 100% off. I am not naive.

With all due respect, you think the Founding Fathers had the same mindset as you?!?! To Go Galt and hideout with friends and family? Uh, that is not what my history books taught...I was under the impression the Founding Fathers were willing to sacrifice everything for this country, and did not hide out with friends or family...

Yet you won’t even vote because someone said something disagreeable about your candidate.

You know what? As I said, I don’t care. Go Galt, but I would suggest that you do it after the election. To sit home and pout because you are pissed at some Freepers when we have a candidate who is truly opposed to tyranny and supports National SOVEREIGNTY (oooh you should like that) is not being patriotic, savvy or taking care of family or friends.

>>They’ve convinced themselves that Cruz is the devil incarnate, while completely ignoring much of the wildly non-conservative past and present of Trump. They will go to extreme and contorted lengths to rationalize ridiculous things Trump says. Even though Trump has bragged of his “deal making” prowess, and how he will work with the democrats, they remain convinced he will do all the things he sold them early in the campaign, even as he waffles on many of them.
**********************************************************

Cruz IS Lucifer’s Lieutenant, 100%. No need to further discuss, his evil actions have been documented countless times by multiple posters here.

BUT, on this 100% PRO TRUMP website, we don’t need to be reading your Trump-bashing words.

The owner of this site has made it clear he does NOT want anti-Trump posts. Please be respectful and “Take it Elsewhere”.

Thank you.

At one of the debates, I realized part of why I liked Trump so much—it is because he is older, the oldest candidate—he is traditional in sense that he has a vantage point of seeing the world as it was 40 or 50 years ago...He has seen the changes that have occurred. Rubio, Cruz, et al don’t have that same grounding.

No, you are an America hating jerk of a little nothing of a nobody, who is NOT a "sovereign" entity unto his own.

Big whoop....I have my own well water too, many acres which are infested with damned deer, wild turkey, and I'm not alone in that. OTOH, should Hillary somehow become president, neither you nor I shall be unscathed by her presidency; you fool !

I agree with your point about the convention of the states. There’s nothing globalist, or anti-globalist for that matter, about the process. The process itself has no ideology. It’s value, pro or con, would be determined by the specific amendments set forth. It could have a positive effect if the right amendments were put forth. Most of the proposed amendments I’ve seen from proponents like Mark Levin are not globalist in nature.

LOLOLOLOLOL

Wow, you would fit right in with the self-righteous progressives.

Let’s play a little game, shall we?

*Time Travel to 2008*

“We don’t have to reach out to social conservatives. They lost, we won. And what are they going to do? Stay home? If they do, it will be their fault that Obama wins!” - McCain supporters.

*Time Travel to 2012*

“We don’t have to reach out to evangelicals. They lost, we won. And what are they going to do? Stay home? If they do, it will be their fault that Obama is re-elected!” - Romney supporters.

*Back to the Present*

“We don’t have to reach out to Cruz supporters. They lost, we won. And what are they going to do? Stay home? If they do, it will be their fault that Clinton is elected!” - Trump supporters.

But Trump won by a huge margin, right?

Well, in 2008, McCain won 46.7% of the votes in the Republican Primary season. Huckabee won 20.1% of the votes. McCain lost in the general election.

In 2012, Romney won 52.1% of the votes. Santorum won 20.4%. Romney lost in the general election.

In 2016, Trump won 45.0% of the votes. Cruz won 25.1%

Trump needs the Cruz voters. He has to have them if he is to win.

And guess what? He knows that and is rebuilding the fences needed to win Cruz’s voters over. He knows, from the last two elections, that telling voters they have no where else to go is just encouraging them to sit out the election.

That’s been the mentality of the last two GOP campaigns and why we had two terms of Obama.

Trump is reaching out. But the Trump supporters on Freerepublic? Nope! Two months later and they are still re-opening the wounds, still rubbing in salt, still full of vitriolic rhetoric.

Why?

Many people on this site have felt that their voices have been silenced because if they dare have a different opinion, if they dare ask questions, if they dare challenge Trump on any single issue, they will be hounded and attacked by dozens of others who don’t use actual arguments to disagree.

Want to see the real effect of this? The quarterly fundraisers used to take around 50 days to complete. The last quarter took 64 I believe. And this one is already behind schedule. 13% in 11 days.

People aren’t going to support a site where they feel their voices can’t be heard.

The #NeverTrump people are gone. They were purged back in April. But that isn’t good enough for many Trump supporters. No, they must go after anyone who supported Cruz in the primaries. Even if they have said they support Trump in the general.

And those same people patrol the threads looking for anyone who steps out of line on 100% support for Trump.

That’s what it has come to, and it needs to stop. If Freerepublic shrinks down to a small cabal of Trump supporters who live in an echo chamber, then it will not financially survive, nor will it have the influence over conservative politics that it once did.

I’m not sure they are really insults. And I am sure they don’t mar Trump’s chances of winning the election.

It’s unfortunate that this whole silly feud has erupted again. Many would rather look down upon the Trump supporters than upon the jihadis. They believe the jihadis are too terrifying to exist, therefore they don’t exist and therefore are no concern of ours. They’d much rather believe that everything is just as it has always been.

I think of my friend who said that only those who are born again can see that the end times are here.

It really is long overdue!

Back in the day....when you were banned, you were BANNED and the rest of the election cycle was "peaceful". Now, even though JR has proclaimed that this is a TRUMP supporting site, there are some who are still TROLLING.

The Globalists salivate at the prospect of a “Convention”, so they can, with their power, contaminate the process and put the final nails in the coffin of Free Men once and for all.

We won’t fall for that tactic. NO. No new Convention is needed or wanted. It is to be avoided at all costs. We recognize it as the ploy it is.

All that is needed is to actually enforce the existing Constitution, and deport or execute all traitors, as was done in the past. I trust DJT to work out all the specifics.

Yeah, this fraud pretends he’s above it all. He doesn’t need no GD president. And yet a little Cruz criticism has him foaming at the mouth.

By that token, anyone who trashes Trump and is still pimping for Cruz should be banned right now and NEVER be allowed back onto this site.

JR has proclaimed that this site fully supports Trump;so like it or take your thin skinned selves off to some place else to moan and groan and bad mouth Trump, whilst delusionally hoping for some BIG TIME something to come for twee Teddy.

Hey, who do you think you are, to be telling me what to think or whom to support? I’ve been on FR for a long time, and will speak about what I feel is in the best interest of this country. You don’t like Cruz, and I don’t trust Trump. So what? Are we not capable of rationally arguing our cases? And with regard to not “trashing Trump”, let me ask you this: the first time Trump betrays you by reneging on a campaign promise, will “trashing” Trump then be allowed?

And, what do you mean by, “he wasn’t even legally allowed to run this time”? I assume you have it in your head that Cruz is not a NBC, but every court that heard challenges in that issue threw out the cases, saying he IS eligible to run.

Now, with regard to Trump, make no mistake, and as I’ve said before, I will be voting for him, as he is our nominee, and it is imperative to keep Clinton out of the White House. My favorite Trump promises are building the wall and getting control of illegal and legal immigration, lowering the nominal tax rates to 25%, and streamlining federal agencies. I just don’t share others’ confidence that he will do those things, but if he does, I will be a happy man.

“Technically, the NBC clause is for “presidents,” not “vice-presidents.” “

How can Art II, Sec I, Clause V not apply to the VP, who is constitutionally in place to assume the job of President, should the President need replacing?

Makes no sense.
