I gave my cell phone to someone to take some pictures and in none of the pictures he took did he get everyone in the frame, and the drummer is not in any of them. We were short one guitarist, and the bassist cancelled last Monday and we couldn't get a replacement on short notice.
This is right before we started the third set around 3pm. I have no idea who the clown is, but he couldn't play worth beans.. ;-)
Since I don’t have spring compressors and other such work-on-strut tools, I got complete assemblies (spring and shock already assembled). Two bolts at the bottom requiring a 19mm (or 3/4”) wrench and socket (one on bolt head and one on nut and a 13 or 14 mm wrench on the top end.
And then an alignment..
Do you have a CD-ROM reader/burner in your ‘puter? Or a big thumb drive? Because if you do you can burn a bootable CD that will boot your ‘puter to Linux before you actually uninstall the Windoze virus.
Sounds like you had an interesting time. I hope people were inspired by your efforts!
And at least it was sunny!
Yes I do have a reader-burner in the confuser, and I have several thumb drives which have saved quite a few crashes of laptops over the last four years. Not to mention the 3TB slave.
I also have blank CD-ROM discs, but I don’t know how many I would need for that, and I don’t know how to do it. But if you tell me how much space I need and then (later) tell me how to do it, I can do whatever it takes.
(Sadly, I have to wait until a day when my brain isn’t filled with gray lint. But tell me how much space I need and I can get the stuff ready, at least.)
Thank you so much!
*hug*
That looks like Fall! We are having 90 degree days and my A/C has been running; there are a few yellow leaves on the mulberries, but nothing like what is in the photo.
St George, with it’s cooler (by 10 degrees) climate, might have a greater Fall Show than what we get here.
Awww...squee...
What a pretty kitteh.
In other news, I got two phone calls yesterday, which is two more than I usually get. One was from Walgreen’s, reminding me that there was a prescription waiting for me to pick it up, and the other from Hockeybughow.
Surprise, surprise. This was after the FB fiasco concerning his surgery, which was the first I’d heard of it. Besides the text messages I sent to his wife when I saw the pics, I also commented on FB about not having the opportunity to pray for the medical team. I haven’t heard a word from them, since.
And the reason for the phone call? They want me to come out for Christmas, their treat. I woke up this morning and the flight info was in my email. The flight out is a little late for my taste, but coming home shouldn’t be too bad. It arrives here at 1326.
And that darn mosquito just got the back of my neck twice this morning. GAH!
Great news about the Christmas visit. It sounds like your son feels a little guilty ;-).
Kathleen had a meltdown last night around 7:00 when I wouldn’t play Candy Land any more because she was cheating. She shrieked for close to an hour, on and off, and then went to bed for 12 hours. Reminds me a bit of Anoreth at that age: there was nothing she liked more than the sound of her own voice raised in outrage. Back to normal today.
Bill’s going to work this morning. Tom went to church yesterday and will stay home today. James should turn up at church in time for the Spanish Mass. DP and the Cubs are on their own.
LOL - cute!
I’ll have to send that pic to my son. He buys VW’s and restores them to mint condition, trying to match the paint and interiors as closely to the original as he can get.
He will really enjoy this.
He posts his rebuilds on FB, and has quite a following.
It was Linglover’s idea (his wife) since she is most likely the one who told him not “bother” me with a simple thing like kidney stone surgery. She’s the one who is paying for it, so it’s all good.
I had already forgiven them both, but this is a nice gesture. I’ve accepted it. And the eticket is already in my travel “purse.”
Last night, as I lie in bed, waiting for the Evil Sleeps to overtake me, I thought about how I was going to pack a week’s worth of sleep shirts, and then it came to me: They have a washer and dryer! LOL!
That is so cute!
I always have to remind my family that they don’t need to pack everything they own (except for camp) because we can do wash.
The Cub Scout camp group has just returned. They stink.
"For stink to flourish, it only requires good people to do nothing."
Since my nebulizer and hibiscus tea bags will take up some space in my suitcase, I will have to rely on Space Bags, once again. Only this time, I will have to buy new ones. *sigh* I wore out the other set. They leaked air.
They sure are life savers, though.
My stomach is upset this morning, and I don’t know why. I hate when I do that.
I need another breathing treatment, while I think of it. If I don’t have that steroid treatment in the morning, I will begin to have chest pains, so I’m very careful about that. The other two meds I use during the day, sometimes at bedtime. All of them are necessary, but the steroid is the most important.
I forgot what it was like to have stinky boys around...or men.
Peppermint tea can help your stomach. Tom drinks it.
DP says there were lots of colorful spiders at camp.
