Did anybody else watch Laura Ingraham deliver her TERRIFIC speech at the convention on Fox News? If you did, you probably wanted to pull an Elvis on your TV set when for some BIZARRE reason, Fox News cut from the middle of Ingraham's speech to go to a rather mundane Talking Points Memo presented by Bill O'Reilly.
It was jaw-dropping how STUPID it was to do this especially since Laura is a regular contributor to Fox News. WHY? Can anybody out there give a rational reason for such a DOPEY decision?
Fortunately I was able to watch the full speech unfiltered on CSPAN but I still can't get over why in the middle of such an incredible speech, they pulled away from it.
Yeah, I was listening on Sirius...I was frustrated as well. Her speech was electrifying, then womp-womp. BOR cuts in like a fart in a crowded elevator. :(
I’d watched the last few minutes of the Bret Bair (Beir?) show on Fox and it sequed into the convention so it wasn’t until I realized I was listening to that leftist tool Geraldo and the other leftist tool O’Reilly I quickly switched over to One America News Network. MAN some of their news readers are hot. Anyway, it’s good background. Dying to see what decision Ted Cruz comes to on his pledge to support the party’s nominee. Keep his word? Prove himself just another politico weasel. I’m thinking it’s weasel.
Actually they haven’t carried the speeches at all. All they do is talk about it, but carry on with their regular programming. That is why I am watching on C-SPAN

Direct TV has a channel exclusive to the convention. Channel 347. No commercial breaks, no one to tell you what you just heard.
Take a gander at NewsCorp.’s board of directors and you’ll find Mrs. Mitch McConnell, for one.
Also, no commercials on You Tube where I have watched the last few days.
Well, my take away from this is to be sure to look up Laura’s whole speech on youtube. I did not know she would be speaking, so thank you, PJ-C!
O’Reilly’s ego is huge. He droned on about how mad he was at Montel Williams walking out for some unknown reason which meant he had to fill in the time by himself. Why not cue to Laura?

I was watching C-Span, full coverage, no annoying talking heads.
I quit Fox long ago.
Laura’s speech was one of the best yet
Laura is wonderful - period. One of my favorite voices in the country - she is brilliant and has a great sense of humor. She also has a way of weaving common sense into conservative ideas.
