The goal is to defeat Hillary. For some people, the goal seems to be "Trash Ted Cruz". It's stupid. Cruz has made an ass of himself, but he's not the enemy. Hildebeeste is the enemy.

It is a lot easier to pardon Ted Cruz, certainly, for his gaffes. He isn’t making any requests to turn America into a socialist feelgood paradise.
